🎉Todays TURKEY TRIPLES 🎉
What a spectacular day out on the green! The weather was perfect, the camaraderie was even better, and as players put it: "Our greens played beautifully.
Congratulations to all the winners of today's Turkey Triples competition! It was a fantastic day out on the green.

Our news
Four games of social were played last Saturday. Results were as follows – Game 1 – Andy Chase, Alex Mattiazzi and Brian Wilmot 14 v Vicki Smith, Rod Crome and Pam Moore 13 – Mark Winks, Eddie Zanatta and Eliseo Zamprogno 26 v Tony Durkin, Rod Newlands and Joe Straatman 17 – Game 3 – Simon King, Robyn Smith and Rob Capelli 21 v Tom Hodgson, Maree Ball and David Sharp 17 – Game 4 – Kim Foster, Ray Spiller and Peter Smith 24 v Peter Balmer, Judy Sharp and Michael Sweeney 15. Judy and David were visitors from South Tweed. It is pleasing to see Kim and Simon playing on Saturday afternoons. Random trophy winners were Maree Ball, David Sharp, Zel Zamprono, Joe Stratman, Michael Sweeney, Brian Wilmot, Eddie Zanatta, Pam Moore, Andy Chase and Rod Newlands ..Photos from Saturday.
The draw for the B Singles has been done. Draw for the men’s event which will be played as a knockout draw is as follows – Steve Sheehen v Peter Balmer – Trevor Wilmot v Michael Surch – Bruce Griffit v Dave Blackley – Peter Smith v Joe Straatman. The ladies’ event will be played as a section – Maree Ball v Robyn Smith – Marker Gwen Blackley. All players should be there at 8 for an 8.30 start.
A working bee will be held on Sunday at 10am. Your support for this requested as this as it will help prepare the club and surrounds for the coming carnival.
Members fees are now due (Full members)
AGM to be announced soon. As will nomination forms, be on the Notice Board.

We are thrilled to announce that our newly refurbished toilet facilities are now open and ready for business.... We’ve completely upgraded the space to make it fresh, modern, and much more comfortable for everyone.
This initiative was proudly funded by the Australian Government under the Stronger Communities Programme, with special thanks to the Federal Member for Maranoa, the Hon. David Littleproud MP, for his advocacy and ongoing support of our local community infrastructure.
Not to mention our Club volunteers (12) who made everything possible before our contractors started and assisted during. Statists.. 4 contractors and 11 suppliers all working together!
A massive thank you to everyone for your patience. It took a while.

What an eventful evening we had at the club tonight! Here is a wrap-up of all the action, draws, and big-money excitement:
• Members Draw #99: John F. Unfortunately missed out on taking home $300. This means the jackpot rolls over, making next week's draw $350! 💰
• Raffle Winners: Congratulations to all our lucky raffle winners! Check out the photos to see who took home the prizes. 📸
• Trivia Blockbuster: We turned up the excitement with a game of trivia where top scorers stood a chance to win an incredible $10,000!
◦ The Results: While no one managed a perfect 10/10 or 9/10, we had 9 absolute champions score 8 out of 10!
◦ The Prize: Each of these 9 players received a thrilling shot at walking away with the $10,000 grand prize!
A thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed a bite from Outlaw Food Shack, and played along. See you all next week to chase that $350 jackpot!

Nominations for the B Singles close next Saturday afternoon. Nominations are also open for the Apple Blossom Carnival. Nominations are open for the SDMDBA Open Two Bowl Triples. This event will be played at the Clifton Bowls Club on October 31st and November 1st.

We your Club were truly honored and deeply pleased to support the Stanthorpe Cancer Support Group at their Father’s Day Luncheon today.
Days like today remind us of the incredible strength and compassion within our community. The Stanthorpe Cancer Support Group provides vital comfort, financial aid, and transportation for local patients and their families during some of life's most challenging moments. To be able to stand alongside them and contribute to this cause is a privilege we hold close to our hearts.
A beautiful afternoon at The Summit Bowls Club brought everyone together to share laughter, support, and generosity. Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, and helped make the event a success. Your kindness radiates deeply, and to all the wonderful fathers and father figures in our community—happy Fathers Day.
