Ashgrove Women on Tour
Not to be deterred by a 36 hole competition on Tuesday, 12 diehard golfers headed up to Tenterfield for more fun and hopefully some great golf.
Tenterfield is always such a beautiful destination, and the hospitality of the Tenterfield Golf Club is exceptional.
We played a 4BBB on Wednesday followed by a 4person Ambrose on Thursday, with the emphasis firmly on fun.
Thursday evening saw Pearls and Tiaras take centre stage with some wonderfully glamorous outfits adding plenty of sparkle to the evening.
It was, as always, a fantastic getaway with a great group of ladies, plenty of laughs and many memorable moments. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Played at Sandgate GC : Sunday 9th August
Win to Ashgrove 12.5 to 8.5
The Ashgrove Pennants team headed down to the bay to take on Sandgate GC on a perfect day for Golf.
We welcomed debutant Junior Harry Coulter who did well to half his first ever Pennant's match.
Our Opens performed really well taking the division 8.5 matches to 2.5. As has happened all season we had a number of halved matches, and most of our loses went down the wire on the 17th & 18th Holes.
Jason Burkitt, Nick Holtz and Jack Marriot remain undefeated so far this season.
Pennants is about much more than the final score. The matches were played in a great spirit and afterward Sandgate treated us to a BBQ a meal where the team songs were sung.
A big thank you to all the players, caddies, supporters and everyone who travelled to support the team.
The team now turns its attention to our Match at Jindalee GC on Sunday.

The Ashgrove Golf Club Ladies Annual Open Day was a fantastic success!

We welcomed 86 players from 12 clubs across Brisbane for a Shotgun Start 4BBB competition, showcasing our beautifully presented course and the warm hospitality Ashgrove Golf Club is known for.

Although a few passing showers made a brief appearance, the weather was kind overall, making for a wonderful day of golf.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our raffle, which raised an incredible $490. Special thanks to Frescos Fruit Shop for generously donating a beautiful selection of fresh fruit prizes.

Congratulations to our overall winners, Kathryn Gurr and Helen Holland, who combined brilliantly to score an outstanding 50 points. Well done also to our runners-up, Amy Kim (Windaroo Golf Club) and Yuhee Park (Carbrook Golf Club), who finished with an excellent 47 points.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a memorable event. We look forward to welcoming you back to Ashgrove Golf Club next year! ⛳💚
