Here’s the receipt for our donation to Medecins Sans Frontieres (aka Doctors Without Borders).
This money, the sum of $2010, was raised from our lucky number lottery in class from February to June. What a fabulous result!!
Thank you to my fantastic students who never disappoint! Your support is so very valued and appreciated by the doctors who treat people who are injured in conflict zones all over the world.
Hope to raise even more by year’s end. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hi everyone 🙋🏻‍♀️
Well, the numbers are in, the Keep On Rockin’ and James Boys joint fundraiser for the Cancer Council grand total came in at $3070!!
The generosity and camaraderie of our dancing community is second to none. 160 people attended at Long Jetty yesterday and what a great day we had, it was great to see so many dancers (and non-dancers) having a good time. Thank you for supporting 🙏🏼🙏🏼
ALL proceeds from the day including the door, raffle, class fee and market stall sales will go to the Cancer Council for research into all types of cancer.
Huge thanks to all the musicians who gave of their time and talents (Steve has named them all in his previous post) the many helpers, my friends, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of these events for me, and the benefactors who donate prizes and/or cash. You know who you are, you are humble anonymous angels.
So much goodwill, it’s heartwarming ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Special mentions - Barb and Steve, it’s a joy to work with you, you just give and give and give. Speaking of giving.. Chez and Peter, where would I be without you? Nothing is too much trouble and every day is a laugh-fest with Chez!
