Introducing Iron Tigers Connect

Launching in Term 4 at Lake Haven, Iron Tigers Connect is our new inclusive basketball program for players of all abilities.

The focus is simple: build confidence, develop basketball skills, stay active, connect with others and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.

Wednesdays | 4:30pm–5:15pm
Commencing Wednesday 14 October 2026

$150 for the term | $20 casual

Active and Creative Kids vouchers accepted. NDIS self-managed and plan-managed invoicing available where applicable.

For one night, swap the basketball shoes and training gear for something a little sharper.

Our 2026 Annual Presentation Night is a chance for the whole Iron Tigers community to come together away from the court and celebrate the players, coaches, volunteers and families who have made this year what it is.

2026 TIGER SPIRIT AWARD

Our Bateau Bay and Niagara Park teams are only halfway through their current competitions, so their Presentation Night recognition looks a little different.

Each team will present a Tiger Spirit Award.

This award recognises the player who shows outstanding effort, positivity and what it means to be a true Iron Tiger.

The player who brings the right attitude. Works hard. Supports their teammates. Responds to coaching. And represents their team and club the right way.

It’s not about being the best player on the court. It’s about the way you show up.

Our Bateau Bay and Niagara Park Tiger Spirit Award winners will be revealed at Mingara on Saturday 12 September.

🏀 BASKETBALL COACHES WANTED – LAKE HAVEN

Iron Tigers Basketball Club is expanding at Lake Haven and we’re looking for coaches to join our team for the new competition commencing Friday 11 September.

The commitment:
🏀 Games Friday afternoons/evenings between 4:00pm–8:00pm, depending on age division
🏀 Team training Sunday mornings, 9:45am–11:00am

What we offer:
✔️ Paid coaching at above-award rates
✔️ Ongoing coach development and support
✔️ Funded further education and accreditation opportunities
✔️ A pathway to take on greater coaching responsibilities within Iron Tigers

U17 UNLEASHED | SEASIDE CLASSIC

Our senior touring team is set.

Introducing the Iron Tigers Unleashed U17 Boys who will lead our three-team contingent at the 2026 Seaside Classic in Port Macquarie.

As our oldest group on tour, there’s an expectation that these boys do more than compete. They’ll set the standard, represent the club and help lead our younger U13 and U15 Tigers through the weekend.

The next Iron Tigers Unleashed team heading north is our U15 Boys.

Ten players selected from across our programs will come together to take on the 2026 Seaside Classic in Port Macquarie.
