Melbourne Brasil Futsal offers coaching and leagues for junior players all year round. Why Mellboune Brasil Futsal Academy (MBFA)?
The Melbourne Brasil Futsal Academy offers competitions and coaching in Melbourne in the eastern suburbs. We are the only all year round dedicated Futsal Academy with professional Futsal coaches from Brazil to teach players the Brazilian style of game that encourages to play in tight areas , the use of flair and improvisation in a fun and at the same time professional environment. We encourage the
players to develop their skills and be confident to use it when needed and not just "kick it long"
Futsal is a sport in its own right, with professional leagues all over the world. To play at a good level, players need to be taught about the game. The skills are similar to soccer, but not the same. The tactics are also very different since you only have 5 players in total, including a GK. Futsal is well known for developing close ball skills and most Brazilian players football stars have developed their skills in their early ages by playing Futsal. If you want to learn Futsal with the best coaches in Melbourne please contact us!
“I pride myself in developing young players in both Futsal and Soccer. A positive experience for young players when learning a new sport will encourage them to get better and play the game for a long time. In return they live a more healthy and exciting life and those experiences will help them become better citizens”

I can finally relax and enjoy watching the World Cup now that Brazil is out. The suffering is over! 😂🇧🇷
It also puts things into perspective. Teams like Germany (4-time champions) and Italy (4-time champions) haven't been anywhere near lifting the trophy again for a long time. It just shows how much the game has evolved. The gap between the traditional powerhouses and the rest of the world keeps getting smaller as more countries continue to develop.
I really hope we see a first-time World Cup winner this year. It would be something special for football and a great reminder that no team has a divine right to win anymore. That's what makes the World Cup so exciting! 🌍🏆

The more I watch football at the highest level, the more it reminds me how important futsal is for player development.
Look at this clip — the player controls the ball with the sole of the foot, which is one of the key techniques strongly emphasised in futsal.
Unfortunately, we still see football coaches in Australia telling players not to use the sole of the foot. But when this technique is taught and applied properly, it gives players excellent close ball control.
As the game becomes faster and players are constantly under pressure, this skill becomes extremely valuable.
Futsal develops footballers. ⚽️⚽️⚽️
