🌸 WHAT A DAY, TARALGA! 🌸
That’s a wrap on our Spring Fair & Markets 2026 — and what an incredible day it was!
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, browsed our market stalls, grabbed a coffee, entered the competitions, brought along their pets, joined in the games, enjoyed a meal and simply spent the day with us.
Days like today are exactly what our little community-owned and run Club is all about. ❤️
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful market stallholders who joined us and brought such a great variety to the day. We really appreciate you choosing to spend your Saturday with us and supporting our event.
☕🎨 A very special thank you to Octopus Australia and Hanworth BESS, who generously sponsored both the free coffees and Rainbow Faces face painting and balloon twisting. Your support allowed us to offer these completely free to our community and was very much appreciated.
A huge thank you to Cruzin Brewz for keeping the coffees flowing and Rainbow Faces for bringing plenty of smiles to the kids throughout the day!
🐾 Thank you to Taralga Public School for running the Pet Show and to everyone who brought their much-loved pets along.
🚒 A huge thank you also to our local RFS volunteers for coming along and supporting the day. We’re incredibly lucky to have such dedicated volunteers in our community, and it was great to have you there as part of our Spring Fair. ❤️
🐕 Our Dog Jump was plenty of fun too — thank you to everyone who entered and got involved!
🎯 We also had some very competitive gumboot throwing! Rowan took out the kids competition, while Jesse claimed the adults competition. Congratulations!
🍭 Our lolly guessing competition was incredibly close! Jarred guessed 710 lollies... with the actual number being 714! Not a bad guess at all!
🪵 Congratulations to Danny Cummins, winner of our cubic metre of split firewood, generously donated by Reggie Davis Firewood. A huge thank you again to Reggie for supporting our Club.
🐮 And then there was Brian’s Poo Lotto...
Brian certainly didn’t keep us waiting! 😂 He got straight down to business and did his number in square 52, which had been picked by Pat Rice!
That little contribution from Brian has made Pat $800 richer! 💰🐮
Congratulations Pat — and well done Brian on a job very efficiently done!
🎶 A huge well done to Tia, our talented 15-year-old singer, who entertained us this afternoon with her acoustic covers. Thank you to everyone who stopped to listen and supported her donation jar. We loved being able to give a young performer the opportunity to gain some experience in front of a crowd.
🍽️ A massive thank you to Taralga Country Kitchen for keeping everyone fed from breakfast right through the day.
And of course, Brian the long-horn cow and Hephner the alpaca were a huge hit and received plenty of attention and pats throughout the day!
Behind an event like this are a lot of people giving their time. A huge thank you to our volunteers, directors, staff and helpers who helped with the planning, setting up, running activities, serving, cleaning and packing everything away.
And finally, THANK YOU TARALGA!
Whether you stayed for an hour or spent the whole day with us, every meal, raffle ticket, market purchase and drink over the bar helps support a non-profit Club that is owned and run by its community.
Seeing so many families, locals and visitors enjoying the Club today made all the work behind the scenes completely worthwhile.
We are incredibly lucky to have the community we do. ❤️
