While we have had some overnight rainfall, the ground is still firm so the working bee 🐝 this morning is going ahead and the 600 FClass match for this afternoon is also still as scheduled.

It was a beautiful sunny day today at the range today kicking off with the 100m Fly shoot- 7 competitors took to the benches to see how many times they could kill a fly. Congrats to Hobbsy for the win! The afternoon was spent shooting the NRL22 August COF where 9 competitors took to the barricades! Big congrats to Charlie for winning Young Guns AND overall (adding a 100% score to the National leaderboard!)

Registration is now open for the NRL22 July COF at TPVRC Saturday 25th July - 12pm sign on for 12:30pm start (after the 500m F Class which starts at 9:30am). Everyone is welcome! Come give this fun, exciting discipline a try in a friendly, supportive atmosphere!

We were lucky enough for the sun to make an appearance on Saturday and held 2 events, with Rimfire Benchrest at 9:30am and 11 shooters taking place at the benches! Congrats Peter Barnier on a well shot 1530, taking the win!
The NRL22 June COF was conducted in the afternoon with 12 attendees, with some travelling from Coffs Harbour and Armidale. Congrats on category winners:

We’re hoping to set up the targets prior to benchrest, so people who are new to the discipline can have a play with the steel targets between matches if desired

The TPVRC Loomberah Range will be closed tomorrow, 30th of May 2026, due to poor conditions. We are enjoying the much-needed rain, but hope conditions improve for next Saturday.

We had a nice turnout today of 10 shooters for our very first official NRL22 match. Thank you to everyone who took the time and effort to come out and all who helped out!
