GP101 Grand Prix Hydroplane Race Team

It's almost that time again.. R2 of the Lucas Oil Australia Hydroplane National Drivers Championship is just over six weeks away with Glenmaggie set to host the final of the 2026 season on October 03-04, with these two looking to see if they can make any impact on points leader and reigning Champion, Grant Harrison 👊🇦🇺🏁

The GP101 team would like to congratulate the Queensland APBA for running and organising a fantastic race meeting at Lake Leslie.
Every person involved from the organisers, course boats, start boat, divers, crane operators, handicappers and anyone else involved made the weekend a joy to be part of.

Always a good day when a GP rolls in!

Things have been rather busy behind the scenes at GP101 HQ these past few months.

Since our last appearance at Yarrawonga Powerboat Spectacular we’ve:
- Repaired the damage from the collision with Lay It On in the E.C. Griffith Cup Final
- Installed a brand new steering quadrant
- Returned Matt Ferris’ lucky 2005 E.C. Griffith Cup-winning blower off Tattoo (with thanks!) and installed our own new unit
- Rebuilt & resprayed our trailer with a few upgrades

We’ve tested our package and we’re off to Queensland APBA Powerboat Racing Leslie Dam this weekend, yewwwww! Let’s go racing! 🔥😎🏁
