On Monday we asked: if Rosehill TPV® was specified, how do you know it's what got installed?

Here's your answer — a Certificate of Authenticity.

Every genuine Rosehill TPV® rubber wetpour installation supplied by Surface Designs comes with one, confirming:

✅ The installation it relates to, on record
✅ The exact products and colours supplied

Site investigation is not simply about confirming whether an outdoor sports facility will fit within the available space.

It helps establish what will be required to make the facility work.

Existing levels, drainage paths, underground services, vegetation and root zones, neighbouring land uses and ground conditions can all influence the proposed layout, pavement design, extent of civil works, supporting infrastructure and project budget.

A cross-fall may require additional pavement build-up. An underground service may not appear in the available site information. Nearby tree roots or unsuitable ground conditions may affect where the facility can be positioned—or how it needs to be constructed.

These conditions do not necessarily prevent a project from proceeding. However, they should shape the design and budget from the outset.

When they are identified later, a layout that appeared suitable on paper may require substantial revision, particularly if it has already been presented to stakeholders or used to establish project funding.

With more than 25 years of sports facility construction and technical design experience, iDwala assesses proposed sites and advises on layout feasibility, pavement options, civil works and supporting infrastructure before key project decisions are finalised.

Planning a new outdoor sports facility? Establish what the site will require before committing to the layout and budget.

The strongest 2027 court upgrade proposals will begin well before the next funding deadline.

As outdoor sport activity increases, councils and facility teams have a timely opportunity to observe how courts are being used, where constraints exist and which improvements should be prioritised.

It can be tempting to defer planning until the next funding cycle becomes clearer. However, a well-developed concept and supporting cost plan require time to:

✅ Test layout options against the available site

✅ Confirm sporting codes, court priorities and user requirements

✅ Address accessibility and other compliance considerations during design

✅ Define the project scope and establish a credible budget

Starting early creates more time to engage stakeholders, resolve competing requirements and refine the proposal before funding deadlines begin driving decisions.

It also provides a stronger foundation for internal budget discussions, project briefings and future grant applications—with a clearly defined scope and costs that can be properly supported.

If a 2027 court upgrade is on your radar, now is the time to begin the concept and budget planning conversation.

Global freight conditions are tightening again. What does this mean for Australian importers and exporters?

Recent typhoon activity has created significant congestion across major Chinese ports, with extended berth waits and ongoing schedule disruption at Shanghai, Ningbo and Qingdao.

But China is only part of the picture.

Panama Canal restrictions, constrained inland transport in Europe, continued Middle East uncertainty and peak-season demand are adding further pressure across global supply chains.

In our September Freight Market Update, we look at the key developments we're monitoring, what they could mean for upcoming shipments, and practical steps businesses can take to stay ahead.
