Crosscourt’s home-grown talent, Laisha Dhumal, has delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 ACT Open Championships held on 29th August 2026, showcasing her immense potential on the table tennis stage.

Laisha dominated the competition in the Under 11 Girls singles category, securing the GOLD medal in a display of skill and composure. In the highly competitive Under 13 Girls and Rating 800 categories, she fought hard to claim SILVER medals in both, rounding out a remarkable tournament campaign.

This impressive feat is a testament to her dedication and the exceptional mentoring she receives from her coach, Boyette Zapata. The continued and unwavering support from Crosscourt has been instrumental in her development, providing the foundation and structured programs that allow young athletes like Laisha to thrive.

The anniversary celebration yesterday also honored the Crosscourt Legends C Grade Team for winning the Table Tennis Western Sydney (TTWS) Summer 2026 Championship. The team's victory on June 23, 2026, was a defining moment. Team Captain Evan Panelo, Glenn Baylosis, Patrick Sicat, Mohit Singh, Sunil Gupta, and Anil Pandit were praised for their teamwork and flawless ex*****on in the final against Wenty Leagues White.

Founders Boyette and Rose Zapata used the occasion to highlight the achievements of the Crosscourt community and recognize key individuals who have contributed to the hub's success. The anniversary comes just days after the hub proudly announced its "PLAY, COMPETE, ELEVATE" values were on full display with the success of the Crosscourt Legends.

During the event, Boyette and Rose Zapata extended their gratitude to the partners who have been instrumental in Crosscourt's journey. The recognized partners include Aldrin Arena, Glenn Baylosis, Evan Panelo, Jon Sierra, Malou Sierra, and Patrick Sicat for their ongoing support and contributions to the hub's success.

Since its opening in 2024, Crosscourt has established itself as a welcoming space for table tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. The TTNSW-affiliated club features five ITTF-approved tables, training robots, and certified coaching . It regularly hosts social play, coaching sessions for kids and adults, and its competitive ASCENT Series competitions.
The celebration underscored the club's commitment to its three core goals: creating a friendly atmosphere, developing competitive players, and providing high-quality coaching. "Keep it up Crosscourt!" echoed as the community looked forward to many more years of success.
