Got some weak muscle groups and struggling to bring them up?
This one is for you 👊🏻

Now there can be plenty of reasons as to why this may occur.
It could be 1 single thing, such as ex*****on, or it could be multiple things.
A lot of the time it can come down to slide 2 & 3, from what I see 👀 give it some love and intensity 👊🏻

What’s my carb load strategy when it comes to clients completing??
It depends!
There are so many factors to consider when to start the load, how much, what does the category require, how much muscle does someone carry.
That’s why I love running some high days as trial loads coming into show, to get a good gauge on how a client can respond to a certain amount of carbs.

The flat look 100% can mess with a lot of peoples head in prep.
The feeling like you’re not doing what you’re meant to (bring a lot of muscle to stage), as you feel it is all disappearing is head noise to the max!
But a lot of the time, you need to spend some time here and embrace the flat look, just keep that end goal and the best stage look at the front of your mind 👊🏻

Now I am all for some behind the scenes to give context of a coach putting in work and effort with helping clients. I love seeing coaches that actually care.

But when it is more so aimed at stroking their own ego compared to showcasing the client and making it about them....

Big Yak Yacoub Hadaya sitting approx. 11kgs up in 8 week post stage.
With condition holding nicely. Not shown here, but he also has some lines in the glutes still.

The last 8 weeks have been quite a slow progression in calories, given Yacoub doesn’t need a huge amount of cals to put on weight. Hunger has still been real for him, but he has managed this period very nicely and stuck to the plan ✅

Health markers also in a good spot, cals slowly building, right before he heads off to Europe for a bit of travel, then possibly/probably a bit of a fat loss phase when he gets back, before getting into a growth phase.

Swole is the goal.

Quite often I get asked when my next comp is….

Which I cannot answer, it may be never, it may be in a couple of years.
All I know now, is the hunger is different. The hunger is towards getting my clients the best results and getting them on stage instead of myself.

Lucky I have some of these pics to tell people I used to compete anyway when I get older 😂
Also to relay to clients I know what it takes and I’ve been through the pits myself 🕳️

Program based off what the client/athlete needs ✅
Program based off what template you have saved 🚩

Here’s a bit of an insight into how I program and my thought process when putting together a new training block for an athlete 🤔💭

If you want an actual program that is specific for you and not a copy and paste, shoot me a message, I got you 👊🏻

I hate to be this person.
However hearing this kind of stuff over and over does a few things:

1. Doesn’t surprise me, I’ve heard, seen and experienced things like the above before.
2. Makes me want to help people realize what bad coaching is. As sometimes people are unaware and think of this as being normal.
3. Makes me want to continue to push (along with some other great coaches out there) to raise the standards of coaching.

People pay good money for coaching and should be given a service. I am fully aware certain things can go both ways and there are always multiple sides to all stories.

However s**t coaching and not putting a clients physical and psychological health as a priority…. That needs to go 🚽
