💪 LET’S TALK ABOUT THE STUFF YOU CAN’T SEE…

We talk a LOT about strength training changing our bodies.

But what if the best things it gives you have absolutely nothing to do with how you look? 👀

Maybe it’s…

🧠 More confidence
💪 Feeling capable
❤️ Better mental health
😴 Better sleep
🔥 More resilience when life gets hard
🧘 A calmer mind
🙌 More energy
🏋️ The confidence to try things you never thought you could
💥 Knowing you can do hard things
🤝 A community that has your back
🌱 Learning to trust yourself and your body
🎯 Discipline and consistency
✨ Feeling proud of yourself

And sometimes it’s simply having that one hour where you get to switch off from the chaos of life and focus on YOU.

Strength training isn't just about building stronger muscles.

It can help you build a stronger relationship with yourself, too.

So we're throwing this one out to the BYB crew…

👇 What's the BEST thing strength training has given YOU that has absolutely nothing to do with your appearance?

We want the real answers. ❤️

And yes… “I can finally carry all the grocery bags in one trip” absolutely counts. 😂🛍️

😴💪 REST DAYS AREN’T LAZY DAYS.

Let’s clear this one up…

You don’t get stronger because you trained every single day.

You get stronger because you trained, recovered, adapted… and then trained again.

When you lift, you’re giving your body a reason to adapt. Your muscles, nervous system and connective tissues need time to recover from that training stress.

That means rest isn’t time wasted.

Rest is part of the training. 👏

And more isn't always better.

More sessions ❌
More volume ❌
More intensity ❌
More punishment because you “ate too much” ❌

Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is back off, sleep, eat well, move gently and let your body catch up.

Your body doesn't get stronger while you're smashing out another workout.

It gets the opportunity to repair and adapt when you recover.

So if today is your rest day…

Enjoy it.
Take the guilt out of it.
Go for a walk. Stretch. Have a coffee. Put your feet up. 😂

Then come back ready to train again.

Train hard. Recover harder. 💪❤️

💪🥩 WHY PROTEIN & STRENGTH TRAINING BELONG TOGETHER

You don’t need to obsess over protein.
You don’t need to weigh every gram.
And you definitely don’t need to live on chicken and broccoli. 😂

But if you’re strength training, protein is your mate.

When you lift weights, you’re giving your muscles a reason to adapt and get stronger. Protein provides the building blocks your body needs to repair, recover and build muscle.

Think of it like this:

🏋️ Strength training = the stimulus
🥩 Protein = the building blocks
😴 Recovery = where the magic happens

Getting enough protein can help support:
✔️ Muscle repair and growth
✔️ Strength and performance
✔️ Recovery between sessions
✔️ Maintaining muscle as we age
✔️ Feeling fuller and more satisfied after meals

And importantly, this isn't about eating less.

It's about giving your body enough of the right stuff to do what you're asking it to do.

So rather than thinking “How few calories can I eat?”, try thinking:

“How well can I fuel the body I’m asking to get stronger?” 💪

Protein at meals, a balanced diet, regular strength training and adequate recovery.

No extremes. No food guilt. No complicated rules.

Just fuel it, train it, recover it. ❤️

💪 LADIES LIFTING MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 💪

Sometimes the biggest transformation has absolutely nothing to do with the number on the scales. ❤️

Our Ladies Lifting members often start with a simple goal… “I just want to get stronger.”

And then something happens.

✨ You walk into the gym with more confidence.
✨ You lift weights you never thought you could.
✨ You stop being intimidated by the weights area.
✨ You trust your body more.
✨ You realise just how capable you actually are.

And THAT is the kind of progress we love celebrating. 🙌

Because getting stronger isn't just about the weight on the bar, it's about the confidence you carry OUT of the gym too.

Stronger body. Stronger mindset. More confidence. 💚💙

A huge shoutout to our Ladies Lifting crew for showing up, learning, lifting and proving to themselves what they're capable of. 👏

Your progress is YOURS. And we bloody love watching it happen! 🔥

💪 WHY GETTING STRONGER MAKES EVERYDAY LIFE EASIER

Strength isn’t just about what you can lift in the gym.

It’s about making real life feel a little easier. 🙌

🛒 Carrying all the groceries in one trip
👧 Picking up and carrying the kids
🪜 Getting up and down stairs without feeling wrecked
🛋️ Moving furniture when you suddenly decide the lounge room needs a “little rearrange” 😂
🧳 Lifting suitcases
🌳 Gardening, housework & all the awkward jobs
❤️ Being able to help ageing parents when they need you
🚶‍♀️ Staying capable, independent and confident as you get older

When you train for strength, you're not just building muscle.

You're building capacity.

The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, climb, get up, get down and keep doing the things that matter to you.

And that becomes even more important as we age.

Strong isn't just a gym goal.
Strong is a life skill. 💪
