🏆 GRAND FINAL WEEKEND! 🏆

Well, this is awkward… 😏

No Victorian team. No Sydney team.

It’s Fremantle Dockers 🟣⚓️ v Brisbane Lions 🦁 at the MCG!

Freo are chasing their first-ever premiership, while Brisbane are chasing a three in a row— and it’s the first time these two clubs have ever met in a final.

So, Saints… who are we getting behind? 👀

🏆 PRESENTATION DAY — THIS SUNDAY! 🏆

Sunday | 10am–12pm | Acron Oval

Presentation Day isn’t just about celebrating this season — it’s a chance to celebrate the history, people and values that make St Ives Saints such a special club. 💙🤍

Our perpetual awards carry the names and stories of people who have helped shape the club over many years.

From Trev Byrne, remembered for his dedication, leadership and club spirit, to Danny Callinan, a much-loved team player whose determination and selflessness are remembered through his award.

And as our girls’ program grew, so did the legacy of people like Ian Wilkins, Renee Forth and Jemma Thorp — passionate pioneers and ambassadors who helped build the pathway for girls and young women in football.

These trophies are more than silverware. They keep stories alive and pass our club values from one generation of Saints to the next.

So come along this Sunday, celebrate our players, volunteers, coaches and families — and be part of the next chapter of the St Ives Saints story.

💙🤍 One Club. One Community. Go Saints!

Happy Father’s Day to all our AFL Dads! 💙🤍

To the dads who get the kids to training, kick the footy in the backyard, cheer from the sidelines, coach, manage teams, umpire goals, carry water, run the boundary, volunteer in the canteen… and do whatever it takes to help their kids enjoy their footy.

Thanks for the early mornings, muddy boots, endless car trips, encouragement and, most importantly, for being there every step of the way. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day to all our footy legends! 🏉👏

💔 What a game. What a finish.

Our U14B Saints fought right to the very end, hitting the lead with this goal with less than 2 minutes to play. 🙌💙

Sadly, Leichhardt Canada Bay came back to win by just 3 points in the final 40 seconds.

🏉 Final Score: Leichhardt Canada Bay 41 – St Ives Saints 38

A heartbreaking way to finish, but what an incredible effort from the boys. They’ve shown plenty of grit, determination and team spirit all season.

Hold your heads high, Saints — this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see what this group brings next season! 💪🏉💙

🏆 END OF SEASON PRESENTATION DAY 🏆

What a season it’s been for the St Ives Saints! 💙🤍

Join us on Saturday 13 September, 10am–12pm at Acron Oval as we celebrate our players, coaches, team managers and volunteers and wrap up another fantastic season together.

We’ll be recognising some of the season’s standouts with our Best & Fairest counts, Coaches Awards and Team Manager Awards, along with the presentation of our much-loved perpetual trophies. 🏆👏

A quick but important reminder before the season is officially packed away:
👕 Please wash and return all playing jerseys
🔎 Check for any lost property and collect anything that belongs to you
♻️ Any unclaimed lost property will be donated after Presentation Day.

Most importantly, come along, celebrate the kids and enjoy a morning with our Saints family.

See you there! 💙🤍

Umpire Appreciation 🖤💙

A couple of pics from the weekend as we said a big THANK YOU to all our St Ives umpires! 👏

Some are learning the ropes and building confidence, while others bring years of experience. At St Ives, we’re proud to encourage our umpires to learn, grow and develop — just as we do with our players.

We brought our umpires together to show our appreciation with a voucher, funded in part by the generous donations of parents.

We also presented our Umpire of the Year award to Aiden Neilsen 🏆👏, with Dion Bradley from AFL NSW/ACT on hand to present the award.

We’re incredibly grateful to every one of our umpires for helping make our games happen. Thank you💙

Our final Auskick at Acron for the season! Despite the drizzle, the kids had plenty of fun. 💙🤍

See you all next year — we can’t wait to watch them grow their skills! 🏉

🍗 Season finale: smashed it! 🏉

The U15G girls may have finished the season with some results that didn’t always go our way… but tonight’s table tells us everything we really need to know! 😂🍗

After smashing out the 2026 season, the girls are now smashing the KFC — and looking pretty happy about it!

Because ultimately, a successful season isn’t just measured on the scoreboard. It’s measured in the friendships made, the skills learnt, the laughs shared, the resilience built and, most importantly, whether the girls are having a bloody great time playing footy. ❤️

And judging by this table… we’re calling that a WIN. 🏆🍗

What a way to finish 2026! Go Saints! 💙🤍
