NSW Lightning Billiards

The Lightning Billiards Grand Final was held yesterday.
Congratulations to all the finalists.

The event was taken out by George Neradilek, who defeated our long term supporter of this event, Phil Robin.

George played solid billiards all day and was a deserved winner.

The high break prize was won by David Walsh with a fine 44 on the tricky Hornsby tables.

Hopefully, see you all again next year, in March, for our 14th year.

Lightning Billiards Round 3 was completed back on the 7th of July.

Many thanks to both Vince Deguara and Kepu Olivetti, who filled in at late notice when a couple of players had to pull out.

As it turned out, these good deeds paid off for both of them as they made the final!

Congratulations Vince on taking it out. Kepu must have used up his usual amount of good luck and fortune in the previous matches!

Congratulations also to Mark Harper and Di Merritt who were the semi-finalists. Di having now may the hattrick of finals appearances this year. Going for 4/4!

Jason Hastings had the high break of 46.

They have now all qualified for the final in November.

The final was a close battle between Paul & Di.
Paul getting up 150 to 134.

Well done Paul, who played quite well on the new tricky tables at Hornsby.
