Twenty years ago, a legacy was born. When the Yagoona Lions claimed the Bankstown Men’s Premier League Grand Final, it wasn't just a victory—it was the spark that ignited an extraordinary era of dominance.

What followed is the stuff of club legend. Over two decades of relentless drive, sacrifice, and pure passion, this club conquered football at every level: 8 League Titles, 2 State Cups, and twice being crowned the absolute best as Champions of Champions.

Tomorrow, history calls again. We step onto the pitch with a chance to write a monumental new chapter as we chase our fifth Grand Final victory.

To the players and coaches who wear the red and black: win, lose, or draw, your commitment has already made us proud. You carry the weight of a 20-year dynasty, and tomorrow, you play for the jersey, the history, and each other.

🔴⚫️Yagoona Lions earned a hard-fought week off after edging out Padstow on penalties in an absolute nail-biting penalty shoot out

🟠⚫️Padstow United bounced straight back, carrying all the momentum into the big dance after a clinical 5-0 masterclass against Panania last week.

The stage is set. The rivalry is real. Who claims the title in 2026? 🏆⚽

We bow out on penalties after 120 minutes couldn't separate the teams at 2-2

Despite the result, it has been a remarkable season for our BDL squad who were only moments away from a final

In the earlier game yesterday our BDL squad also defeated Padstow United with goals from Cross (2) and Walker, the win progressed the team to a grand final qualifier next week against East Bankstown
