Growth beyond the syllabus.

Our Classical Extension Program runs Saturdays with the wonderfully experienced Miss Jo Ansell, guiding our dancers through open ballet technique that refines their foundation while introducing advanced steps and combinations beyond their regular classes. The program also includes conditioning and flexibility work, building the strength dancers need to take on more advanced technique.

This program offer dancers the opportunity to discover just how far they can take their training.

We're exploring a new entry-level pathway into the program. If you'd like to register your interest send us a message, we'd love to know.

Our babyballet stars were able to watch some of our our Performance Teams and Soloists at their Mid-Year Showcase!

Throughout the year, our Performance Team programs give dancers the opportunity to build teamwork, projection, expression and stage confidence through 4 competitions, our Mid-Year Showcase, and End of Year Concert.

It's a full year of stage experience that shapes how our dancers perform, celebrates everything they've achieved in their technique classes, and pushes them further, teaching them to dance with freedom, confidence and individual artistry. 🌟

Watching our 14 & Under class bring storytelling, expression and technique to life at this year's Showcase.

This is where classical foundations meet a different kind of artistry, discipline finding a new voice.

Skill gets them on stage. Moments like this are what stay with them. 🤍

The Heartbeat of Early Training. 🩰

With a combined 43 years of experience teaching ballet in the Sutherland Shire, SBA has nurtured, influenced and inspired the lives of dancers from their very first preschool class through to careers in dance.

This is what it means to be an established studio: generations of dancers, one shared love of ballet, from our faculty to our youngest dancers.
