🏆 St Ives FC JDL DOMINANCE — AND SO MUCH MORE THAN RESULTS 💚

What a season for our St Ives FC JDL squads! 🦅⚽️
For the 6th consecutive year, our JDL program has finished at the top of the NSFA JDL rankings, an incredible level of consistency across our U8–U11 age groups.

But while the results are something to celebrate, they are only one part of the story.

📈 SIX YEARS. ONE PHILOSOPHY.
Finishing at the top once is an achievement.
Doing it six years in a row demonstrates something much bigger:
A philosophy. A methodology. A culture.
Our Development Program has never been built simply around winning games. Our purpose is to develop better footballers and better people, creating an environment where players can learn, make mistakes, challenge themselves, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy their Football.

We want our players to:

💪 Become confident and resilient
🤝 Learn to work together and support each other
💚 Enjoy coming to training and playing Football

The success of our Development Program cannot be measured by league tables and trophies alone. It is measured by the players who continue to develop year after year.
By the confidence they gain.
By the friendships they build.
By the Football they learn to play.
By the teammates they become.
And by the culture they help create.

The results we see on the weekend are the outcome of the work done during the week. Behind every player is a coaching team committed to planning, teaching, correcting, encouraging and challenging. Behind every team is a club committed to providing the environment, resources and opportunities needed for players to thrive. And behind it all are the countless hours contributed by our coaches, technical staff, committee members, volunteers and families.

Six consecutive years at the top of the NSFA JDL rankings is something we are incredibly proud of.
But we are even prouder of the footballers, teammates and young people our program is helping to develop.

Because ultimately… the results matter, but the development matters more 💚⚽️

What a group. What a journey ⚽️💚

Many of these boys have been together for years, growing not only as footballers, but as teammates, friends and young men. They have represented St Ives FC and Brazilian Art Football with pride, commitment and incredible consistency.

And the results speak for themselves:

But what makes this group special goes far beyond trophies. It’s the work they put in, the standards they set for each other, the way they compete, and the way they represent our club and BAF on and off the pitch.

Today, we celebrate what they have achieved, but we also know there is so much more to come.

Believe in yourselves.
Keep challenging each other.
And most importantly, keep improving.

The journey is far from over. Many more great moments are still to come. Congratulations boys, coaches, Team Manager Christoph, and everyone who has been part of this incredible journey.

⚽️ Grand Final decided on penalties.

The boys gave everything they had and deserved more from the game. Unfortunately, Football can be cruel, and the Grand Final was decided from the penalty spot.

But what an incredible season of grit, growth, resilience and togetherness. We’re so proud of this group and everything they’ve achieved, and the way they represented our club throughout the season 💚

Heads up, boys. This is only the beginning.
The best is yet to come! 🏆

🏆 U12 DEV — GRAND FINAL RUNNERS-UP 🥈

Congratulations to our U12 Development team on a fantastic season and a huge effort to reach the Grand Final!

A heartbreaking finish for our boys, who fell just short after conceding a late goal in the Grand Final. 💔 The boys fought until the very end and gave everything on the pitch. They should be incredibly proud of their season and their journey to the Grand Final.

A big thank you to the players, coaches, our amazing team manager Sally and families for your commitment, support and belief throughout the season.
