The Gymnastics Programs with Club PERÓ develop a blend of athleticism, artistic interpretation and musicality in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Welcome to Club PERÓ! We offer Foundational and Competition streams with classes to fit all students of all ages. Our programs are aimed at developing strength, flexibility, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and music appreciation with Rhythmic Gymnastics apparatus including Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs and Ribbon. Club PERÓ’s team of dedicated coaches are committed to developing skills, as well
as confidence, resilience and self-discipline in their gymnasts. Our experience comes from a diverse range of backgrounds including classical ballet, dance, theatre and sport. We understand that professionalism is very important in providing quality education to students which is why our classes are taught by qualified and highly-trained coaches. CURRENT TERM DATES & TIMETABLE:
Darlinghurst: Wednesdays & Fridays from 3.30pm, Saturdays from 12.30pm
FOUNDATION STREAM: Our Foundation stream is designed to introduce students to the foundations of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Students develop body control and apparatus coordination and have the opportunity to perform in displays, open classes and our annual end of year concert. Beginner (Kindergarten-Year 2) / 1-1.5 hours per week, per school term
Junior (Years 3-6) / 1-5 hours per week, per school term
Intermediate (Years 7+) / 3-9 hours per week, per school term
We also offer a COMPETITION STREAM to students suited to competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics. The Competition stream is by invitation or selection ONLY and is a full year commitment. HOLIDAY PROGRAMS: Our Holiday program is full of fun-filled activities for new and enrolled students. New students are welcomed to the world of Rhythmic Gymnastics, while enrolled students maintain their momentum outside of School term time.
