🌿 As August comes to an end, a new month begins.

If you're pregnant, September doesn't need to be about doing more, being more productive, or trying to keep up with everything around you.

Perhaps this month can simply be about taking better care of yourself. 🤍

Give yourself permission to:
✨ Move your body in ways that feel good
🌬️ Take a few deep breaths when your day feels overwhelming
💛 Rest when your body asks for it
🌸 Nourish yourself without guilt
🤰 Make time to connect with your changing body and your baby
🧘‍♀️ Create moments of calm in the middle of a busy day

Your wellbeing matters during pregnancy. Looking after your physical and mental health isn't selfish—it's part of preparing for the journey ahead.

Your September reminder:
You don't have to do everything.
You don't have to feel your best every day.
You simply need to listen to yourself and take the next kind step. 💕

Here's to a new month of moving gently, breathing deeply, resting when needed, and nurturing yourself from the inside out. 🌿

Happy September, Mamas! 🤍

🤍 Create a little bubble of bliss—for you and your baby. 🌿

This gentle online prenatal yoga practice begins with a calming meditation, giving you a chance to pause, breathe, and create a peaceful space within yourself before moving into the asana practice.

The physical practice focuses on gently stretching and releasing the hips and spine, helping to maintain mobility and ease some of the tension that can build as your body changes throughout pregnancy. 🤰✨

A beautiful combination of:
🧘‍♀️ Mindful meditation
🌿 Gentle hip and spine stretches
🌬️ Conscious breathing
🤍 Deep connection with yourself and your baby

Prenatal Yoga Pose of the day: Cat-Cow (Bitilasana Marjaryasana)

Cat-Cow is a gentle movement that can help release tension in the back and encourage mobility through the spine—especially helpful as your body changes during pregnancy. Move slowly with your breath, keeping the movement comfortable and never forcing your range of motion.

Breathe in: gently lift the chest.
Breathe out: round the spine softly.

A simple movement to help you connect with your body, one breath at a time. 🤍

🤰🤝 Birth preparation is better when you prepare together. 💛

Our Couples Birth Preparation Workshop is designed to turn “What will happen during labour?” into “We know how to support each other.”

During this hands-on workshop, couples learn practical skills they can actually use on the big day, including:

🌿 Breathing techniques for labour
🌿 Active birth movements and positions
🌿 Massage and acupressure for natural pain relief
🌿 Ways partners can provide meaningful support during labour
🌿 Partner yoga and relaxation techniques

We’re so grateful to Adele for sharing her experience with Mother Nurture Yoga throughout her pregnancy:

💗“I've been really enjoying these yoga classes throughout pregnancy, they're perfectly tailored to be safe and personalised for everyone participating. Caroline is a great teacher, really encouraging and shares great insights into birth preparation. I particularly enjoyed the couples birth preparation workshop as it was interesting, practical and well paced. My partner and I have felt much more connected and better prepared since doing it. I would very much recommend Mother Nurture for online and in person sessions”

Pregnancy can be a beautiful, transformative journey—but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. Taking time to move, breathe, stretch, and simply pause can help you feel stronger, calmer, and more connected to yourself and your baby. 🌿🤰

This online pregnancy yoga practice is your reminder that your health and happiness matter too. Whether you're joining us from your living room or practising alongside other mums online, every time you step onto your mat, you're giving yourself—and your baby—a little more care. ✨

So take a deep breath, give yourself permission to slow down, and enjoy this time just for you. 💛

A happy, supported mama is a wonderful gift to her baby. 🌸

🤍 Your pregnancy deserves a space where you can truly pause.

One of the biggest benefits of attending an in-studio pregnancy yoga class isn't just what happens on the mat—it's the opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and give yourself one uninterrupted hour to focus on you and your baby. 🌿

In class, you can:
✨ Move your body safely as it changes
✨ Release tension and ease common pregnancy discomforts
✨ Build strength and mobility to support your growing body
✨ Practise breathing and relaxation techniques for pregnancy and labour
✨ Connect with other mums who are experiencing a similar journey

And there's something special about practising alongside other pregnant women—you're not just attending a class, you're becoming part of a supportive community. 🤰💛

So if you've been waiting for the "right time" to start pregnancy yoga, perhaps this is your reminder:

Come join us on the mat and experience the difference of practising together, in person.
