Chris and Charlie are back after a G1-winning week, with Autumn Glow going to a new level in the Winx Stakes - a dominant performance over Sheza Alibi in what turned into the match race everyone expected. Narbold broke through at Listed level in the Rowley Mile on Thursday, while Something's Burning impressed midweek.

The big one this weekend is Caulfield, where the stable saddles five in the G1 Memsie Stakes - Beiwacht, Buckaroo, Angel Capital, Birdman and Autumn Boy. The Listed Heatherlie Stakes also fires on the same card with Soulcombe, River Of Stars, Barnavara and Wootton Verni, plus plenty more runners across the Caulfield program.

At Rosehill, Althoff steps out again from a tricky draw, while Joint Venture and Diameter line up in the G3 Up and Coming Stakes among a strong hand across the card. Eagle Farm also hosts a number of runners on Saturday, including Zane's Zinger - so don't miss it.

Chris and Charlie are back to launch the new series with the first Review & Preview Show of the season, recapping a record-breaking campaign in 2025/26. The team also reviews recent winners Steel Will, Eagle Express, Concordia Wind, Althoff, Barcelo, and the relentless Unstopabull.

Attention now turns to Randwick for the first Group 1 meeting of the new season on Winx Stakes Day. The team will launch eight starters in the the G1 Winx Stakes headlined by star mare Autumn Glow, Beiwacht, Aeliana, Fangirl, Lindermann, Autumn Boy, Lady Shenandoah, and Barnavara.

Across the Randwick card, keep an eye on Campione D'italia taking on the older horses in the G3 Show County, Striking Alibi in the G2 Silver Shadow Stakes, Karinska in the G3 Toy Show, Matusalem and Elliptical in the G3 Premier's Cup.

The 2025/26 racing season has delivered plenty to celebrate.

On Saturday we celebrated the NSW Metropolitan Premiership & Siena Grima taking out her first Apprentice apprentice premiership.

This year has delivered so many special moments, from our 200th Group One victory, to a Royal Ascot adventure, working with the KIDS foundation for Tour d’Horse and so much more.

While we’re incredibly proud of these milestones, they’re the result of a team effort.

To our owners, thank you for your trust and support. To our staff, jockeys and industry partners, thank you for your commitment and dedication every single day. None of this happens without you.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together, but we’re already looking forward to what’s next.

Iommi (Written By x Self Esteem 23C)

His name honours Tony Iommi, the legendary English guitarist and co-founder of the iconic heavy metal band Black Sabbath.

If the pedigree sounds familiar, that’s because Iommi is a half-brother to one of our stable stars, Lindermann, who was also named after a musician. Continuing the theme from their dam Self Esteem, both Iommi and Lindermann are named after musicians renowned for their confidence and stage presence—a subtle nod to their dam’s name.

There’s another clever link connecting them and their siblings too: every name features a double letter.

From Wasserman to Lindermann, Hammett, Cranberries, and now Iommi, it’s a naming tradition that celebrates some of music’s biggest names while following a unique family pattern.

This weekend’s feature at Rosehill is the Winter Challenge, so we’re looking back to 2014 when He’s Your Man proved too strong in the Listed Feature.

That victory was just the beginning. Three starts later, he announced himself as one of Australia’s best milers with a brilliant victory in the Group One Epsom Handicap at Randwick.

We’re looking forward to this weekend’s edition with Mchale, Matusalem & Democracy Manifest set to line up.

Charlie's back from a memorable Royal Ascot campaign, with Joliestar running a narrow third in the Queen Elizabeth Il Jubilee Stakes and making everyone proud. Back on home soil, Tazima was a good winner at Randwick during the week to keep things ticking over.

At Rosehill on Saturday, God's Window line up in the McKell Cup, with Sounds Unusual, Pinhole and Caboche among a strong hand in the Ranvet Stayers Cup. Over at Eagle Farm, Sun God, Rotagilla and Yet He Moves contest the Tatts Mile, Asterix and Etna Rosso line up in the G3 Tatts Cup, and Firestorm and Ahha Ahha round out the day in the G1 Tatts Tiara.

The stable enjoyed another strong week on the track, highlighted by Tron Bolt's G1 JJ Atkins victory at Eagle Farm, taking the stable's G1 tally to 22 for the year. Nobler, Surf's Up and Emirate were among the winners at Rosehill, while Konsa, Pinhole and Royal Air Force also added to the scorecard.

Randwick hosts a strong team this Saturday, with Hello Captain chasing four consecutive wins, Nasebah looking to atone for a luckless last-start effort, and Tazima aiming to go back-to-back. Bluepinot heads to Ipswich off a dominant win, while Cigar Flick and Gumdrops line up in the Listed G*i Waterhouse Classic.
