Fantastic news this week with Tom Cambourn being appointed to make his NRL debut as a Touch Judge in the Round 17 fixture between Parramatta and Souths on Thursday Night. Graded in 2017 as member #1002 after refereeing the 2017 Harold Matt’s Grand Final, Tom has performed consistently at a high level for a long period of time. Tom began his refereeing career in Balmain before transferring to the bush for work and then back to Parramatta. In grade, he has officiated a total of 293 games, concluding 126 NSW Cup matches. He has touched judged the last 3 NSW Cup Grand Finals and was named the 2025 Doug Wintin Award recipient, typifying the quality of person he is off the field as well. Tom’s experiences to date have ensured he is more than ready to be on the “big stage”.
