Before the spring rush arrives, this week we wanted to stop talking about plants and pots for a moment and talk about our people.
Our team. Our work family. 💚
There are so many layers to running a nursery seven days a week, and behind everything you see is this fabulous group of people.
They show up for each other.�They show up for the team.�And most importantly, they show up for you.
They’re watering and caring for thousands of plants, unloading deliveries, organising pots, cleaning, serving customers, loading cars and doing the hundred little jobs you probably never see.
All so that when you walk through our doors, the plants are healthy, the pots are organised, the store looks great and there’s someone there ready to help.

Can you feel it? Spring is getting closer… 🌿
As we all snuggle up on the lounge this chilly Friday night, it’s impossible to miss the little signs that the seasons are changing. Those warm moments when the afternoon sun hits your face, the fresh growth appearing in the garden, and the promise of longer days ahead.
It’s no surprise that mulch is flying out the door! A fresh layer of mulch is one of the quickest and easiest ways to refresh your garden. It locks in moisture, protects your soil, suppresses weeds and instantly gives your garden beds and pots a clean, finished look.
This week’s photos are proof that winter is far from dull. The vibrant purples are simply breathtaking, the marigolds are bursting with colour, and the nursery is full of healthy plants just waiting for their new home. We even added in a photo of some of the glazed saucer range just as a reminder that we are more than just plants.

While this has been one of the coldest weeks we’ve had all winter, you can already feel the change in the air.
The warmth is coming.
Those little patches of sunshine are starting to warm our bodies, and the plants are feeling it too. Some are already flowering earlier than expected, and every day brings a new surprise.
One of the joys of working in the nursery is watching nature slowly wake up in anticipation of spring. At the same time, new stock continues to arrive, and we are busy cleaning, painting and improving the nursery so everything is ready….

Ten photo friday - Ok so i have to admit i am not a natural at voice overs but we all have to start somewhere.

Winter really is a beautiful time of the year that sets the stage for the warmer months. But also lets not underestimate how many plants just look amazing all year round.

Our garden pots really do come in all shapes and sizes. We have one of the largest ranges of pots you will find in sydney.

As I wandered around the nursery this week, I couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful winter can be. The colours are rich, vibrant and full of life, proving that gardens don’t have to wait for spring to shine.
Now is the perfect time to start planning your garden for the warmer months ahead. Take a walk around your backyard, balcony or courtyard and look for those spaces you’d love to improve.
Snap a few photos and bring them into the nursery, we’d love to help you turn your ideas into reality.
We’re also seeing more and more customers using AI tools like ChatGPT to design their dream gardens before they even pick up a shovel. They come in with inspiring concept images, and our team helps choose the right plants, pots and water features to bring those ideas to life.
