MUCC Summer Teams 2026-27
Congratulations to the following players who have been selected to represent Macquarie University Cricket Club in the 2026-27 season.
Special congratulations to Tom Alice, who captains the 1st XI for the first time, and to Rajpreet Singh and Aniish Iyer who continue their captaincy.
Best of luck to everyone for a great season!

There were some terrific performances last season.
Pictured receiving their plaques last night at Cricket Central are, from left to right:
Muhammad Attique who took a marvellous 7- 85 off 24.5 overs versus Chatswood Gypsies in 4th Grade.
Logesh Thangaraj who created history by becoming the first century maker for MUCC in the NCU 1st Grade Competition, when he scored 109 versus North Shore.
Muhammad Faheem, who in only his second game for the club, scored 100 no versus Chatswood Gypsies in 4th Grade.

Congratulations and good luck to the following players who will be playing for MUCC Grey in the Grand Final in Division 18 against Chatswood Premier Risers C on Saturday at Moore Park 8.
The game starts at 10.30 for anyone who can get along and support the team.

New Players 2026-27
This is the final call for new players for the 2026-27 summer season. If you are keen to play for us send your name and mobile number to [email protected] by Friday 14th August.

A strong win by MUCC Charcoal and a hard fought loss to MUCC Grey has resulted in both teams making the Preliminary Final to be played in a fortnight's time.

Best of luck to MUCC Charcoal and MUCC Grey who are playing in Finals Round 1 on Saturday.

The Club would also like to congratulate Rajpreet Singh, who at the recent NCU Presentation Night, was named Champion Player of 3rd Grade for 2025-26.
Rajpreet had a fantastic season scoring 543 @ 49.36 and took 23 wickets @ 17.91.

Just a reminder that the 2026 AGM is starting in 2 hours. It is being conducted by Microsoft Teams.

Congratulations to MUCC Charcoal and MUCC Grey who have both made the semi finals. In 10th Division, MUCC Charcoal (3rd) will play Jaguars Sporting Club B and in 18th Division MUCC Grey (2nd on quotient) will play Box Hills Bears C.
This Saturday MUCC Black, currently equal 3rd, will also play for a spot in the play offs.
