Another sensational morning for !

Another great day for Marrickville with a first match in the AC Gold Pennants. The team went down to Killara in the doubles, which was played first, but both Lance and Roberta prevailed in their singles games to take the match 2/1. Well done team Marrickville!

It was a glorious day for a Hoopy Xmas in July and a (short!) General Meeting, with over 50% of members attending. It was a nice opportunity to formally welcome new members, Thomas Carroll and Mary Raferty (ex Nowra) to our ranks. It was also time to reflect on the wonderful centenary celebration in May and acknowlege the many members who contributed to its success. It was then time to fire up the BBQ, try to get through the yummy member offerrings and hit the lawn for a thwack.

The Marrickland AC Handicap Open Pennant team has kicked off the season well with a 2/1 win over Mosman. Where is Marrickland? It's a mystical place on any croquet lawn where players from Marrickville and Sutherland Croquet Clubs come together to challenge ourselves against other AC enthusiasts. While winning on games is great, they are all winners for keeping the faith for AC! Marrickville is delighted to partner with Sutherland in this endeavour 💪 🏆.
