A bikefit isnt about changing everything.
At Chainsmith, its about understanding how you move, and refining the position so it holds over time - under effort, and over distance.
That's where the difference is felt.
Most riders expect a fit to feel technical.
What they don't expect is how quickly it can make sense once they're in it.

Itโs one of the most discussed areas of discomfort, not to mention wasted money. Saddle after saddle, frustration after frustration, not to mention the bruising, saddle sores, and chaffing.... Finally good news!
Chainsmith has introduced Saddle Mapping to complement our IdMatch bike fitting services.
If you book a saddle test you can see where the pressures are located., That brings you closer than ever when it comes to finding your perfect saddle. Plus, you get to test saddles as youโre pedalling.
Either choose a bike fit to include the mapping service, or book it as a standalone service. We also offer real time 10 day saddle testing, all installed by experts.

Thereโs a reason certain work is trusted to specialists.
Would you take a Patek Philippe to a general repairer? Or ask a standard workshop to tune a Ferrari?
Not because others lack ability, but because the margin for error narrows as performance increases.
At a certain level, the work changes.
The same applies to a bicycle once it reaches a certain level.
Tolerances tighten. Materials respond differently. The interaction between components, position, and load becomes more sensitive, more exacting. Tools are required. Patience and experience are necessary.
At that point, servicing is no longer routine.
It becomes a process of refinementโof understanding how the bike is meant to behave, and ensuring it continues to do so under pressure.
For riders investing in exceptional equipment, this is not an extra.
Itโs what allows the bike to perform as intended.

Saddle discomfort is one of the most common issues riders experience.
Not always immediate, but something that builds over timeโshortening rides, shifting position, distracting from what should feel natural.
๐ช๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐๐บ๐ถ๐๐ต, we can now see how a rider actually sitsโwhere pressure builds, where support is needed, and why certain shapes work while others donโt.
The process refines our existing bikefit services. We still provide a thorough testing by allowing time on the road, supported by our ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ ๐ต๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ.
because the outcome we all want to achieve is simple.
Regardless whether we are competitive or social riders, every cyclist deserves to stay comfortable, hold position, and ride longer without distraction.

The saddle is one of the most misunderstood contact points on the bike.
Many riders assume discomfort is something to adapt to.
With pressure mapping, we can now see exactly how weight is distributedโwhere pressure builds, and where it should be supported.
Alongside our existing IdMatch bikefit service, a rider's choice becomes clearer.
Not just more comfortable, but more stable and efficient over time.

Thereโs a certain hesitation many travelling riders have when considering Sydney. Where to ride. How to plan it. Whether itโs worth bringing a bike at all.
What most riding visitors to Sydney donโt realise is how quickly the concerns melt once youโre out early. Even better when you do it with entertaining and knowledgable company, on a bike fully equipped and well prepared.
Itโs in this climate that the city opens up. The coast becomes quiet. The transitionsโfrom road to climb to open stretchesโ make glorious sense under that expansive Sydney sky and alongside those blue ocean views.
The Sydney experience by bike isnโt about ticking off iconic landmarks. Itโs about experiencing a place properly, with experienced guidance on where to go, and without the friction of logistics getting in the way.
We know from our own travelling days, often the difference between a good trip and one you remember years later. And itโs why we added a hire fleet of 3T bikes to our services. So visitors can experience the very best of Sydney from the saddle and without the difficulties of getting their own equipment sent, built, and tuned before a ride.

Thereโs a noticeable shift happening in gravel.
Races are getting more popular, and faster. The expectation is no longer just capability, but speed paired with stability.
Bikes like the Relli Pro Evo donโt appear by accident. The intent behind this model by Titici is well considered and applied. They manage to retain that race appeal, and yet retain control and connection to the trail. This is a deliberate response to how riders are actually using these bikes nowโlong distances, high pace, mixed surfaces where the riders influence in handling matters just as much as outright speed.
Weโre seeing it here in Australia as well, especially with the coming 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Western Australia.
The gravel category hasnโt changed in name. But itโs evolving quickly in purpose.
For those wanting something more closely aligned to how they ride, the Relli Pro Evo is available not only in standard sizing, but as a fully custom build.
For many riders, particularly those who have never quite settled into a stock frame, thatโs not a luxury.
Itโs what allows the Titici Relli Pro Evo to finally feel right.
