Motivation is fleeting. When we have slept eight hours, eaten perfectly, and had no one upset us, weâre motivated.
when we have stepped for five hours, eat poorly, and our boss has robbed us the wrong way, weâre most likely not going to be motivated.
This is why we donât rely on Motivation at all. We just turn up and get the work done irrespective of how you feel.
This is exactly what our clients do and I couldnât be prouder of them!
Results come from the hard work that you consistently put in. They DO NOT come from the random acts of effort that you feel like doing because youâre in a good mood.

"Deadlifts are bad for your back."
You have probably heard this a hundred times. It is not true.
What actually hurts people is doing the wrong version of an exercise, with the wrong load, before their body is ready for it. That is not the deadlift's fault. That is bad coaching.
This is why I never just hand someone a deadlift on day one. I look at where you are right now, your mobility, your experience, what your body can currently handle, and I build from there. For some people that starts as a kettlebell deadlift or a trap bar. For others it starts with just learning to hinge properly with no weight at all. As you get stronger and more confident in the position, the load and complexity go up.
Every single exercise works this way. There is always an easier version and a harder version. Nothing is fixed. The exercise is not the problem or the solution on its own, it is how it is applied to you.
So next time someone tells you an exercise "isn't good for you," ask them, good for who, loaded how, and coached by who. Most of the time the exercise was never the issue. The way it was taught was.
Itâs MondayâŠ
Some of you are annoyed because youâve felt that you messed up over the weekend.
Some of you are ready for another week of progress and are prepped for the week ahead.
Which one are you?
Losing weight at the expense of your health is never a win.
Extreme calorie restriction, cutting out entire food groups, hours of cardio and constantly chasing a lower number on the scales might get the weight downâŠ
But at what cost?
The goal shouldnât just be to weigh less.
The goal should be to lose body fat while becoming healthier, stronger and more resilient in the process.
Prioritise:
âą Strength training to preserve and build muscle
âą Enough protein and quality whole foods
âą Adequate calories to support your body
âą Daily movement
âą Quality sleep and recovery
âą Managing stress
âą Building habits you can actually maintain
Your fat-loss journey should leave you in a better state of health than when you started.
Donât sacrifice your health to lose weight.
Improve your health, and let fat loss become one of the outcomes.
This is what real progress looks like.
Anthony has been part of our community for the last 12â18 months, and the change weâve seen in him has been tremendous.
Yes, heâs put on muscle.
Yes, heâs gotten stronger.
Yes, his physique has changed.
But what Iâm most proud of is the person behind those results.
Anthony keeps turning up.
On the days he feels motivated, he trains.
On the days he doesnât feel motivated, he still trains.
He stays accountable, follows the process, puts in the work and understands that the results he wants arenât built from one great week. Theyâre built from consistently doing the right things over months and years.
Thatâs the part people donât always see.
Progress isnât about being perfect.
Itâs about building the discipline to keep showing up, especially when you donât feel like it.
Anthony is proof of what can happen when you stop relying on motivation and start relying on your habits, your environment and the people around you to keep moving forward.
Proud of you mate.
And weâre nowhere near finished.
Whatâs better for muscle growth?
Compound lifts?
Isolation lifts?

Coaching isnât just about the numbers.
Nutrition, training, steps. They matter. But theyâre not the full picture.
A client can be hitting every metric and still be running on empty. Stressed. Not sleeping. Mentally checked out. If weâre only looking at the data, we miss that.
Good coaching means asking how someoneâs actually doing. Not just what they ate or how many sets they did. Howâs work. Howâs sleep. Howâs their head.
The best results come from people who feel supported as a whole person, not managed like a spreadsheet.
Check the numbers. But check in on the human first.
No word of a lie, I prospect wherever I go.
Some people call it âsalesyâ
I say that I believe in what I can help people achieve with their health and well-being so much that I will talk about it whenever I get the chance.
