Round 3 wrap up:
We set up in the middle of the wall where we had a consistent bank all day. The scramble up and down the wall was a bit of challenge (or was that just me?) The birds eye view from the judges tent on top of the wall was certainly appreciated. We hosted the third round of the Cronulla Women’s Challenger series, with Grace Gosby taking her second win of the series.
We’re all looking forward to the finals! It was lovely hosting the girls from other boardriders clubs.

Round 3 wrap up:
We had a decent swell at midway, and after a cold morning the sun stayed out warming up frozen hands and feet. Set up in a Queenly position on top of the hill we had the BBQ on and some karaoke- because why not?
Meridie was the lucky winner of a $250 voucher. We also had our vouchers for division winners, sunscreens for second place and Wax fresh scrapers for third place. Some lucky finalist groms also received wax.

I've published the draw for Saturday's competition. There's a solid swell forecast and Kass will make the call on Saturday morning. Open A's are on set up, please be down the beach at 6:50 for set up. If you're keen to help with the call meet Kass at Wanda tower at 6:30. Masters are first up with first heat in the water at 7:30. I've opened up the registrations for our next comp on Saturday 30 May. Can I please ask that everyone everyone registers on time as we are spending a considerable amount of time readjusting heats right up until morning of the comp. Your late entry may not be considered.

Round 2 wrap up:
With the beaches getting pounded by a southerly swell we made the decision to move to Shelley for some mellow waves with the hope it would improve with the predicted swell increase. Well, the swell didn't arrive, however we were able to have some fun. We had lots of members surfing their first ever reef break, sun was out the no sand set up was quite delightful!
Our first 3 place getters this month received awesome prizes from our amazing sponsors. First place with a Triple Bull voucher, second with a sunscreen from Raww cosmetics and third with a wax fresh wax remover.
