I spent YEARS thinking feeling “sexy” came from how I looked
having the “perfect” body, being attractive to other people, fitting into the norm etc etc
And then I lost 20kg and realised… oh 🤣 that actually wasn’t it
Don’t get me wrong, I feel confident in my body now and I fu***ng LOVE that
But the biggest change was the person I became in the process
I started doing the things I said I was going to do
I started trusting myself
I stopped making myself smaller because I was scared of being “too much”
I started saying yes to s**t that scared me
I started actually LIVING rather than constantly waiting until I felt confident enough to do it
And THAT is what makes me feel sexy now
Not sexy as in “do men find me attractive” 🤣
Sexy as in I feel fu***ng ALIVE
Like I really like who I am, I back myself, I’m proud of myself and I’m not constantly editing bits of my personality to make other people comfortable
And I think that’s the bit we sometimes miss when we talk about changing our bodies
Losing 20kg didn’t magically give me confidence
But proving to myself over and over again that I could change my life absolutely did
Anyway this post made me realise that approximately 90% of the things that make me feel sexy have absolutely f**k all to do with being sexy 🤣
What makes YOU feel sexy/alive as a woman?? I wanna know 👇🏼
25/08/2026
I just got back from 5 days in New York where I ate probably 25,000 calories, gained 4kg and had one of the best weeks of my life with my sister 🤣
and do you know what I’ve realised recently
the more FUN I have with my life, the better I seem to do at literally everything
I’m more creative, I have more ideas, I’m better at my job, I’m more motivated to train, my relationships are better and I’m just a much fu***ng happier person 🤣
which sounds obvious but I genuinely didn’t live like this for YEARS
I thought being successful meant sacrifice
if I wasn’t working I felt guilty
if I wasn’t on plan I felt guilty
holidays needed to be “balanced”
meals out needed to fit my calories
and if I gained weight I needed to get it off ASAP
I basically got REALLY good at achieving things whilst forgetting to actually enjoy any of it 🤣
And ironically I ended up burnt out, stressed, stress eating and constantly swinging between being 100% ON IT or completely off it
Now I genuinely prioritise fun
Not “allow myself” to have fun once I’ve done enough work or been good enough all week
I actually prioritise it
New York was not me “falling off”
I knew exactly what I was doing 🤣 I wanted the bagels, the pizza, the dinners, the cocktails and 5 days doing whatever the f**k me and my sister wanted
And now I’m home, back to my normal food, back training and getting on with my life
No punishment required 🤝🏻
BUT I also don’t want this to turn into “f**k your goals just live your life” because that’s not what I mean either
Your goals DO matter
If you want to lose 10–20kg, fu***ng go for it
If you want to get strong, go for it
If you want to feel unbelievable in your body, GO FOR IT
Work hard for it!!
Just don’t become so obsessed with creating this “better life” that you forget to actually live the one you’ve got
Because remember why you wanted to change your body in the first place
Probably because you thought you’d be happier, more confident and enjoy your life more
So make sure you’re actually doing some of that on the way there 🤣🤝🏻
Send this to someone who needs the reminder x

“i’m just not built like that”
“it’s my genetics”
“i’ve tried everything”
Have you heard yourself say that before? i used to say it ALL of the time and genuinely believed it was just the way i was
and then i stopped making excuses and listening to the story i told myself and took action until i got 15kg down and reinvented my life
every single woman in this post had a reason why she “couldn’t.” PCOS. fibromyalgia. endometriosis. full time jobs. kids. menopause.
none of them had it easy. none of them had some magic advantage. they just stopped waiting for the perfect time and got someone in their corner who actually held them to it !!
over 1,000 women coached. these are just a few of them 👏🏻
