⚖️ SUPERCARS PARITY TESTING UNDERWAY

Supercars has selected 10 cars from eight teams for an extensive three-day centre-of-gravity testing program at Dunlop’s facility in Melbourne.

The cars being tested are:

🔵 FORD MUSTANG
• #6 Tickford Racing
• #26 Grove Racing
• #888 Triple Eight Race Engineering

⚪️ CHEVROLET CAMARO
• #9 Erebus Motorsport
• #15 Team 18 wildcard
• #20 Team 18
• #31 PremiAir Racing

🔴 TOYOTA SUPRA
• #2 Walkinshaw TWG Racing
• #8 Brad Jones Racing
• #14 Brad Jones Racing

The program includes cars of varying chassis ages and follows another heated parity debate at The Bend 500.

Chevrolet was initially granted an aerodynamic adjustment to its front undertray before the event. However, after the Camaros dominated Friday practice, Supercars reduced their rear-wing angle before qualifying following concerns raised by Ford teams.

Centre-of-gravity testing measures the balance point and weight distribution of each car. The results will help Supercars determine whether Ford, Chevrolet or Toyota requires another technical adjustment before next month’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

With Bathurst now just weeks away, could the results lead to another major parity change before the Great Race? 👀

🚨 BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: BRT ACCEPTS DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION 🚨

Blanchard Racing Team has accepted the disqualification of both its #7 and #3 Ford Mustangs from the 2026 AirTouch 500 at The Bend.

Both James Golding and Aaron Cameron fell short of the mandatory 54-lap minimum, completing 50 and 52 laps respectively after the race ended at 141 laps instead of the scheduled 147. BRT says its timing software incorrectly calculated that the full race distance would be completed, resulting in the stint strategy error.

BRT has taken full responsibility, stressing that the drivers were not at fault, and has already begun reviewing its race systems and processes ahead of the Bathurst 1000. The DSQ is also a major blow to Golding’s hopes of making the 2026 Supercars Finals.
