Redfern Community NAIDOC Festival is almost here, and honestly, we cannot wait for this one. 🔥

Next Friday 10th July, from 10am to 3pm - the day kicks off with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, then the stage comes alive: Brolga Dance Academy feat. Young, Fit & Deadly bringing serious power to open things up, Mui Mui Bumer Gedlam with traditional performance that always stops the crowd, Cianna & Band setting the tone, DJ Defrok keeping the energy rolling all day, and Mi-Kaisha closing out the stage as our headline act. Luke Carroll’s on the mic running the show as MC, with a few special guests up our sleeve too. 👀

None of this happens without the people who back us, and we don’t take that for granted. Huge thanks to our partners and supporters. This festival is what it is because of you.

Bring the family, bring your energy, and come celebrate community with us. ❤️

Today is the last day of the financial year, and we couldn’t think of a better moment to thank you for being part of our community, and to ask for your support one more time before the clock runs out. 💜

The National Centre of Indigenous Excellence is so much more than a building. It’s a safe, culturally strong space in the heart of Redfern, where community comes together to lead, to gather, and to run their own programs in their own way. A huge shout out to the Koorie Academy, who’ve had our courts buzzing this year with kids learning the game, building confidence, and being proud in culture and strong in spirit, on and off the court.

It’s also where we get to deliver the programs we’re so proud of for our kids and community, like our Mudgin-Gal ~’Womens Place’ aquatics program, getting families in the water together, building water safety skills and confidence one lesson at a time.

When you give today, you’re holding up everything this place makes possible. You’re supporting the families and young people in our own programs, and the community groups and organisations who call this space home for theirs. You’re helping keep a place alive where culture, connection and excellence can flourish, together.

Your donation is tax-deductible if it lands before midnight tonight, and every single dollar makes a difference.

You can give via the link in our bio. Thank you for keeping the fire burning with us. 🔥
