Please join us in welcoming Stella Campbell to the AUSISO HQ Team, as our Project Support Officer.

Stella joined AUSISO in 2025 as a Casual Sport Programs Officer, delivering sport and physical activity programs across the community, before joining the HQ Team providing administrative and project support.

As an athlete, Stella has represented Australia and NSW and has played in the WBBL for both the Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers. She is currently playing for the Parramatta Women's Cricket Team, with her sights set on working her way back into these representative squads.

Alongside her cricket career, Stella is currently studying a Bachelor of Education at ACU. Stella's passion for sport and education brings a valuable perspective to the team, and we're excited to have her supporting the delivery of our programs!

We're proud to announce our partnership with Kaur Sports, an organisation empowering South Asian women through Sport!

Our values align closely and share a common goal of building inclusive, accessible environments where everyone has the opportunity to participate, thrive and belong through sport.

As part of this partnership, we are providing grant and funding support to help power Kaur Sports' important work. We're also excited to back their programs and events by sharing our networks and platforms to help amplify their reach and impact.

Together, we are committed to making sport more inclusive for all.

Congratulations to Melvyn Mathews on his appointment as Multicultural Programs Officer at Football NSW!

Melvyn spent 3 years with us at AUSISO as a casual staff member, delivering quality programs and consistently demonstrating the dedication and professionalism that made him a valued part of our team.

We take great pride in seeing our casual staff progress into full time roles. It reflects the strength of the experience and opportunities we provide and it's always rewarding to see that hard work translate into meaningful career growth.

We wish Melvyn all the best in this new chapter and look forward to seeing him continue to thrive at Football NSW.

What a wonderful evening! A huge thank you to Australian Catholic University, ACU Co-Lab and ACU Enterprise for the kind invitation to the 2026 ACU Partner Thank You Event in North Sydney this week.

It was a privilege for the Australian International Sports Organisation to be in the room with such an inspiring group of partners an evening filled with great conversation, genuine connection and a real sense of shared purpose. We loved having the opportunity to share our journey and to hear the stories of those around us.

Thank you to the incredible ACU team for your ongoing support, partnership and dedication to building such a strong partner community. We're proud to be part of it!

Our Participation Officer, Ethan recently attended Western Sydney Moving Blacktown Local Active Partnership event, joining community leaders and council members for a forum built around one simple question: how do we get our community moving again?

Discussions involved everything that helps a community thrive, more walking and cycling paths, safer streets for families, upgraded parks and playgrounds for kids, stronger connections to local clubs and smarter public transport that gets people moving without needing a car.

For AUSISO, this conversation hits close to home, getting more people active, connected to local clubs and engaged in sport is exactly what we're here to champion. Great to see this momentum building in Western Sydney! 🌳🚶‍♂️

A huge congratulations to Pat, Head of Programs VIC & QLD and AUSISO Co-Founder and Director Herman on completing the Parramatta Half Marathon!

Taking on 21.1km is an incredible achievement in itself but doing so while carrying injuries demonstrates an exceptional level of resilience, determination and mental toughness.

It was fantastic for them to be a part of the inaugural event, marking a significant moment in Western Sydney sporting history and creating a memorable occasion for the entire community.

Their commitment embodies the values we strive to uphold at AUSISO of perseverance, leadership and leading by example. We're incredibly proud of both of you and the inspiration you provide to our team and community.

Career progression stories never get old, and today we're celebrating Samantha Liu!

After spending time with AUSISO as a Casual Sport Programs Officer, Sam has taken the next step in her professional journey, recently commencing a new role as Registration Support Officer with Pont3.

Throughout her time with us, Sam consistently brought energy, organisation and a positive attitude to every program she was involved in. She was someone schools, students and fellow staff could always rely on, and we're thrilled to see her skills being recognised in the sports events industry.

At AUSISO, we love seeing our team members turn their passion for sport into meaningful careers. Whether it's coaching, events, administration, community sport or professional sporting organisations, the experience gained through our programs can open doors in so many different directions.

Sam's move into Pont3 is a fantastic example of that pathway in action. As a company delivering a range of major sporting and community events, it's an exciting environment for her to continue developing and making an impact.

Congratulations, Sam! Thank you for everything you contributed during your time with AUSISO, and we wish you every success in this exciting new chapter!

From casual shifts with us at AUSISO, to Fan & Community Engagement Specialist at the Sydney Sixers, that's Lachlan McRae's story and we couldn't be prouder!

Lachie was an incredible member of our team for a number of years. His work ethic, passion for sport and dedication stood out from day one. We were thrilled when he transitioned into a full-time role at Football Australia and now he's gone and levelled up again with the Sydney Sixers.

This is exactly what we're here for.

We genuinely believe we are a true pathway into the sport industry, not just a job, but a launching pad. From casual to part-time, part-time to full-time, with us or with the incredible organisations our people move into, we walk the talk.
