Through August, Norwest Thunderdogs celebrate the birthday of a very special Thunderdad, Christian.

We wish you a very happy birthday this month, celebrated with the people (and dogs) you love!

Norwest Thunderdogs at 'Frosty Paws', hosted by SC Tsunami Flyball, started early, waited out the rain, and finished with some fast runs. Katchowwwww!

The Thunderdog Cabanaville was a hive of busy yellow and black and a place to share a warm drink, a delicious BBQ'd sausage on a roll, some laughs and stories, and good company.

The Thunderdog athletes (definitely the dogs) were dealed treats from the fantastic Puppyporium in-between doing the things they love the most: playing flyball and being with their humans. Some of them gained titles, some were promoted, some ran with different dogs and different teams, but all of them were loved and cherished.

It was another great day-out for the Norwest Thunderdog community.

Congratulations Jazzy and Sandy on your recent racing promotions following last weekends 'Frosty paws '26' flyball competition in Albion Park.

💛Jazzy and Ruth have been showing commitment and perseverance in their training, showing their true love for the sport and one another, earning their P Plates.
🖤Sandy and Amanda have put in hours of work and play into flyball, showing focus and commitment to the sport, congratulations on becoming a full racing dog! Keep it up!

Congratulations Fly, R2D2 and Jazzy on your recent titles gained at the Tsunami's "Frosty paws '26" competition in Albion Park this past weekend.

Thunderdogs 8 will be hoping for cool & overcast racing conditions in Division 3, in order to unleash the beast, at the Frosty Paws flyball competition this Saturday 1 August, at Albion Park.

Joining their mature counterparts, at the hosted event, will be 8 of Norwest's newest crop of exciting future talent, rearing to go for a stint in the ring during Lunch Time Training.

It's going to be double trouble in Open 1 racing at the Frosty Paws flyball competition this Saturday 1 August, at Albion Park.

Ivy and Link will be racing AGAINST each other for the first time in the history of Norwest, and house-mates Ripley & Bullet will be pausing their domestic relationship for outright bragging rights once the racing begins.

Thunderdogs 1 and Thunderdogs 2 will be going head-to-head in Division 1 this Saturday 1 August, at the Frosty Paws race meeting hosted by at Albion Park.

Nothing quite like racing your stable mates! And don't get me started on who is related to whom in these teams.

Did you happen to catch Norwest Thunderdog's very own retired Queen LAYLA 👑on Sunrise this week? And everyone knows that where you find Layla, you'll not have to look too far to find our brilliant Norwest instructor, Emma, as well 🤩.

🌞Layla and Emma took to the Sunrise set to demonstrate and advocate the virtues of taking great physical care of our most important canine companions.

🎥Layla adapted to the bright lights and cameras like a seasoned morning-show pro and it appears that she was none-to-keen on that 'other dog' hogging the limelight and Emma's treat dispensing. In a true 'I'll show you" move, Layla activated her diva-mode and trotted off to the floor crew for the attention and pats she so rightly deserved. And effectively drew the camera focus away from the set straight to her! 😎
