Rhodes parkrun vollies - 29/8/2026

It lovely a lovely day at Rhodes parkrun today. Lots of visitors here for the Marathon tomorrow. Today, 742 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 162 were first timers and 113 recorded new Personal Bests.

Thanks to Chris and the team for hand-building a new Token board for the event.

We are all set for Rhodes parkrun on Saturday morning. The volunteer roster is looking healthy - although it would be great to get a couple of extra Token Sorters to help out (please email if you are keen).

We are not sure how the Sydney Marathon bib pickup at the Sydney Showground will affect our numbers (or Wentworth Common parkrun), but please leave plenty of time for parking, just in case.

What a special morning at Rhodes parkrun today, as we remembered Marion 🩷, it was special and amazing to see so much pink out on course. A beautiful reminder of the community that Rhodes parkrun is.
