We are very excited to welcome rising star Dave Lofts to Sydney this October, for his first ever headline show in Australia! Paddo RSL on Saturday 17th October. Presale tickets are live now exclusively via our website. General tickets on sale Friday at 10am. Link in comments section.

With his raw, anthemic storytelling and indie-folk edge, Dave Lofts has drawn comparisons to a young Van Morrison and the soulful authenticity of Paolo Nutini. Through songs that feel deeply personal yet universally relatable, he has built a reputation for honest songwriting and captivating live performances, earning a fiercely loyal following both online and on stage.

Dave’s story is as grounded as his music. A former member of the Irish Defence Forces, he brings a unique real-world perspective to his songwriting, adding depth and authenticity to his work. That connection with audiences is reflected not only in his rapidly growing streaming success - now surpassing 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify - but also in his impressive live track record. He has sold out 25 consecutive Irish headline shows and completed a fully sold-out debut UK tour in April, including dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow.

Earlier this year, Dave performed at the 20th Anniversary Oscar Wilde Awards in Los Angeles during Oscar Week, alongside Dermot Kennedy. The event honoured actor Domhnall Gleeson, and an impromptu performance of his latest single Holy with Sarenna Farrell generated over 10 million views across social media platforms.

As a live performer, Dave has shared stages with artists including Gavin James, Wolf Alice, Picture This and Kingfishr, while standout appearances at Electric Picnic and All Together Now have further cemented his reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting new talents.

SYDNEY! On the same night of Dan McCabe's show at Liberty Hall, he will also be singing ‘Ireland’s Call’ before the Nations Championship (Ireland VS The Wallabies) next door at Allianz Stadium before the game kicks off. We have moved the gig set times back, so anyone attending the Rugby can also come to the show afterwards! A very short walk to venue. See you there!

Rest in Peace Stranger Cole.

It was an honour to have seen him perform, and to be in his presence.

A pioneer of Jamaican reggae and ska from the very beginning.

He was a force of “more life” in every way.

Thank you for the music and memories forever Stranger.

Our thoughts and love are with his family and nearest.

We have been notified by the bands manager and booking agent that FEAR has been advised not to travel at this time, so the tour cannot proceed as scheduled.

Troubadour is devastated by this news as we know how many fans were excited for the first ever Australian tour.

We understand the band will reveal more information in time, but our priority is to inform everyone immediately, given how close the dates are.

Refunds for FEAR's headline shows will be available through the original point of purchase.

Our thoughts and best wishes are with the band.

Kristin Hersh will return to Australia this November for a run of intimate headline shows in support of her forthcoming new album Sugar On Blackstone, out 18 September via Fire Records

Renowned for her fiercely emotional performances and uncompromising songwriting, Hersh’s Australian dates will see her bring songs from Sugar On Blackstone to audiences across the country alongside highlights from her extensive catalogue.

Following on from 2023’s Clear Pond Road, Sugar On Blackstone is a darker yet delicately rendered collection exploring life and death, memory, survival and human connection. Deeply personal and emotionally expansive, the album reflects on the lasting bonds between musicians, family and friends, and the way certain sounds and places can suddenly bring someone vividly back into focus.

New single ‘Dark-Eyed Junco’ offers another striking glimpse into the album, pairing lucid melodies with deeply autobiographical storytelling. Recorded at Stable Sound Studios, the album features longtime collaborators Rob Ahlers (50FOOTWAVE) on drums and Pete Harvey (Throwing Muses) on cello.

Long celebrated as one of alternative music’s most singular voices, Hersh continues to deliver performances that are both intensely intimate and disarmingly powerful - a rare opportunity to experience one of modern music’s most influential songwriters up close.
