No coached classes this weekend as many of our athletes and coaches will be competing at the 2026 Australian National Wrestling Championships.

As the semester comes to a close, we’d like to wish Patrick Zimmer all the best as he returns home to Chicago.

Patrick joined us as an exchange student this semester and quickly became a valued member of the club, representing USYD Wrestling in competition at the Victoria State Championships and contributing countless hard rounds on the mats.

Thank you for being part of the team, Patrick. We wish you safe travels, continued success in your wrestling journey, and all the best with your studies back in the United States.

You’ll always have a home on the mats at USYD Wrestling.

This weekend, we take a moment to acknowledge and pay our respects to the service and sacrifice of those who have served.

Please note adjusted training times across the weekend—still plenty of opportunities to get work in on the mats.

USYD Wrestling at the Victorian State Championships 🦁🤼‍♂️

A strong showing from the Sydney Uni Wrestling club over the weekend as we travelled down to compete at the Victorian State Championships.

Across multiple divisions, the team came away with a mix of podium finishes, tough matches, and valuable experience against high-level competition.
