Hi, I’m Adam, the founder of Bonus Distance. For years I’ve been passionate about travelling, fitness, and doing good in the world. I’ve had extensive experience training work colleagues with lunchtime bootcamp groups, and assisting runners with meeting their goals by volunteering as a pacer with Sydney Harbour Runners. I love finding the motivating factors that help get my clients committed and e
xcited about their training, and there’s no better reward than witnessing that proud moment when you achieve a goal that you’ve worked so hard for. In 2016 I had the pleasure of taking a group on a trekking tour to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, but before we set off on our adventure I had to be sure that every member of our group would be up to the challenge of trekking through the Himalayas for nine days to reach an altitude of 4,300 metres! It would be a rewarding experience, but only if we were fit enough to achieve it. Six weeks before setting off, not everyone was physically ready for the challenge, so I implemented a training program to make sure that we’d all get to Base Camp and enjoy the holiday of a lifetime. Our group had a variety of people from all different fitness levels, but sure enough everyone made it to our destination, and felt immense pride at having achieved their spectacular goal. But it’s not all about the destination, it’s about the journey as well – and therefore Bonus Distance was born, to help people from all walks of life to realise and achieve their active holiday dreams! We’re based in Sydney, Australia. And we offer all sorts of tours and itineraries to meet any taste – from local trails in Sydney’s Northern Beaches or the Blue Mountains, to Domestic marathon packages, to International trekking adventures of a lifetime.
