πŸ‘€ The ACA continues to work with the government to secure clearer, more practical guidance to support members as they transition to the new bulk-billing Assignment of Benefit requirements.

While a 12-month transition period has been announced and verbal assignment can still be used, the Department is encouraging practices to adopt the new requirements as soon as their processes and software allow.

This week, an updated FAQ has been released, including guidance on correctly using verbal Assignment of Benefit, along with links to helpful templates and resources.

We'll continue to keep members informed as further updates become available. In the meantime, visit the ACA Medicare resource page for the latest information πŸ‘‰ https://www.chiropractors.org.au/resources/government-health/medicare

🚨 Your feedback can help shape the future of chiropractic referrals.

πŸ“ Last week, ACA members received a survey exploring referral practices to medical specialists, the barriers faced by chiropractors and patients, and opportunities to strengthen collaborative healthcare.

Your insights will directly inform ACA's upcoming advocacy and consultations regarding direct referral to medical specialists.

πŸ“† The survey deadline has now been extended to Sunday, 19 July.

If you haven't completed it yet, there's still time to have your say πŸ‘‰ https://www.chiropractors.org.au/resources/aca-enews/enews-important-medical-specialist-referral-survey-assignment-of-benefit-updates-award-nominations-open
