Start times for this year’s Hawkesbury Classic are out. Penrith have paddlers entered in all the distances. Good luck to all those paddling on the night and their support crew.

Start Times

1600 hrs (4.00pm) : Brooklyn or Bust 100km (Both Singles and Doubles), Sackville Sprint 30km, all SUPs
1615 hrs (4.15pm) : Wisemans Dash (60km), C14, DB20, OC6's
1630 hrs (4.30pm) : 100km Competitive Singles and Competitive Doubles

Some Penrith paddlers travelled up to Tea Gardens last Saturday for the Myall Classic in what turned out to be tough and hot conditions.
In the 47kms race, Jason Ware finished 4th overall only 1 minute behind the leaders and 1st over 50 paddler in 4hrs 19. Matt Lowe finished 11th overall and 3rd in the overall 50’s in a time of 5hrs 3.

David Lowe competed in the 27kms race and came in 9th overall and 3rd in the over 50s

Well done to all the paddlers and a big thanks to Lane Cove for running the event again.

The Myall Classic is on in a couple weeks with a couple of Penrith paddlers planning on making the trip.

Last weekend saw the rebirth of the Morison 50 hosted by Windsor Paddlesports.
