Just women’s on this weekend with no men’s or juniors games, let’s get behind them!

Congratulations to our Briars girls who represented SEHA at U16 Girls State Championships a few weeks ago.

Ella, Mackenzie, Zariah & Lauren (not pictured) represented Sydney East in Div 1. They had a great performance coming 3rd in their pool,
missing semi finals by a few points. They finished 4th in their division.

Tabitha and Willow represented Sydney East in Division 3. SEHA 2 played with spirit and heart the whole weekend, improving every game. SEHA 2 finished last in their pool but will come back next year stronger!

Our pub crawl is only one week away! The theme for the night is the Shepherd and the sheep (Leader and followers). We have listed some ideas to get you started so find your groups and get creative as we will have awards for the best dressed team 💃. See everyone at the Marrickville Bowlo from 7pm next Friday!

With school holidays on this week we’ve just got our seniors playing, spread across different fields. Let’s go!!!

Let’s get behind our Briars teams this weekend!

Congratulations to our Briars players who represented SEHA at Opens Div 2/3 in Narellan last weekend.

Our Div 2 Men played extraordinarily winning every single game and defeating Newcastle 2 3-2 in the final on Monday. They scored a total of 43 goals over the weekend. They have been promoted to Div 1 for 2027.

Our Div 2 Women’s won every game in the pool stage and won their semi final against Southern Highlands 2-0. They played very well in the final but unfortunately went down to Hockey New England 4-1.
Briars congratulates them on their incredible performance over the weekend and their silver medal 🥈

SEHA had a 2nd Women’s team over the weekend who played in Div 3. The team who was coached, managed and captained by Briars players (Cindy, Mel & Scarlett, respectively) played with amazing positivity and determination.

Shout out the Briars umpires Scarlett & Chris who umpired in Narellan over the weekend. Scarlett was awarded the Women’s Div 2 semi final.

Congrats to our U18 girls on their success at State Champs this weekend!

Addison, Airley and Lauren took home silver🥈 in Div 1 playing for SEHA, and Molly won gold🥇 in Div 2 representing Hockey New England.
