And we don’t mean just walking up stairs! 😄
Think about everything that happens in the body with a single step — shifting weight, planning where to place the foot, engaging the core, and finding balance. All of that, in one movement.
At Luz we love motor circuits because they’re so easy to adapt for every student and every stage of development 👇
It can be as simple as stepping onto a low surface, or as challenging as navigating a whole obstacle course. We can change the height, the surface, the direction, the speed — even add a second task to challenge the brain even further!🧠

The sensory garden project is one of the many experiences we offer through our School Leavers Program — and as part of it, our young adults have been taking part in this hands-on project, developing real practical skills while contributing to something truly special in the community.
