These might seem like a small piece of equipment, but they make a big difference when launching and retrieving the RHIB from Sydney ramps — particularly those that are slippery and affected by surge.

Oceansouth Australia have been fantastic supporters of Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project, previously donating boat covers and now these guide posts.

Support like this makes a real difference. In-kind donations help keep our fundraising focused on what matters most — getting veterans on, in and around the water through sailing and powerboat training, social connection and shared experiences.

PITTWATER | Social connection via RHIB operations to Dangar Island

Yesterday, we headed up the Hawkesbury from Pittwater on the Salty RHIB — getting out on the water, spending time together and simply enjoying the company of good mates.

It’s these moments that promote social connection and reinforce the friendships forged through our ADF service.

For us, Salty RHIB is more than a boat — it’s a vehicle for social connection on the water.

Much gratitude to Pittwater RSL | Northern Beaches Sydney for their funding support through the most recent round of ClubGRANTS, helping us keep the RHIB fit for service and ready to get veterans and their families on the water.
