Our team has just sent me this photo after finishing the recovery of this full-size table with PNS Billiard Cloth S147 Tournament Cloth in the practice room of an Australian representative cuesports player in the Southern Highlands.

We love seeing dedicated home setups like this. When players spend countless hours practising and preparing for competition, the table needs to perform exactly as it should. That’s why more players and clubs are making the switch to PNS S147.

Another fantastic day in-store at The Snooker Shop.

When we moved to Mount Kuring-Gai, we didn’t just want to open another shop where people could buy cue sports equipment.

We wanted to create a destination. A place where players could come together, test equipment, practise, learn, and simply enjoy spending time with others who love the game.

That’s exactly why seeing people like Markus make the trip all the way from the South Coast means so much to us. He’s been a regular visitor over the years, and every time he walks through the door it reminds us we’re building something much bigger than a retail store.

Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been playing for decades, you’re always welcome to come in, have a hit, talk cues, try different equipment, or simply spend some time around the tables.

Growing cue sports has always been our goal. Building a community around it is how we get there. 💚🎱

A few months ago our customer visited our showroom with his boys while they were building their new home. They weren’t looking for just any pool table – they wanted something that would look like it had been designed as part of the house.

We worked together to match the timber finish with the cabinetry and then spent several weeks going back and forth with cloth samples, bringing in colours beyond our standard range until we found the one that was just right for the room.

Today we saw it all come together.

This is why we never rush these decisions. The right table, the right finish and the right cloth colour can completely transform a space.

The end result speaks for itself. It doesn’t look like a pool table that was added to the room… it looks like the room was built around it.

We’re incredibly proud of how this one turned out.

One of the most important projects in our journey so far. This week, we completed the professional reclothing of all five championship Wiraka snooker tables at Hornsby RSL Billiards & Snooker Club.

This wasn’t just another commercial installation. This is our showcase room.

When clubs ask us what we’re capable of, this is the room we’ll proudly bring them to.

Every table has been recovered using PNS Billiard Cloth, S147 snooker cloth.

After extensive testing across countless installations, we’ve chosen PNS S147 as our cloth of choice for commercial snooker venues. We believe it delivers exceptional consistency, speed, durability and playing characteristics, and we’re incredibly proud to have it showcased throughout one of Sydney’s premier snooker rooms.

But this project represents much more than fitting new cloth.

Over the past year we’ve been quietly building something special.

We’ve expanded our team, invested in better equipment, refined our techniques and challenged ourselves to improve with every table we recover.

We’re still only getting started.

Every commercial project teaches us something new. Every challenge helps us improve. Every table we work on raises the standard we set for ourselves.

We’re not building a business that simply recovers tables.

We’re building a team that shares the same passion for cue sports, takes pride in their workmanship and genuinely cares about every table we leave behind.

We believe the future of our industry depends on investing in people, sharing knowledge and developing the next generation of professional table fitters. That’s something we’re deeply committed to.

Pool tables aren’t just for games rooms anymore. This outdoor entertaining area now has a centrepiece that can be enjoyed year-round.

Outdoor tables have come a long way in recent years. We think this setup turned out brilliantly.

Another full-size snooker table completed today, recovered in PNS S147 cloth. But today’s job wasn’t just about recovering a table. It was also a reminder of how far our team has come.

As our workload continues to grow, we’ve recognised the importance of investing in the future of our industry and developing the next generation of table fitters.

Over the past couple of years we’ve spent countless hours training, practising and learning. We’ve had a dedicated practice table set up in our workshop, worked on different cloths, different table styles and different installation methods, all with the goal of continually improving our skills and workmanship.

As a result, we’re excited to be expanding our team.

Finding good people is never easy, but we’re committed to building a team that takes pride in their work and shares the same passion for billiards, snooker and pool that we do.

Every table we work on is an opportunity to learn, improve and raise the standard even further.

The future is looking bright, and we’re excited about what comes next.

This outdoor pool table owner had been searching for someone to replace the cloth for quite some time. Several installers had inspected the table, realised the complexity involved, and ultimately decided not to take the job on.

Outdoor pool tables are a different method altogether. The materials, construction methods and exposure to the elements mean they often require a completely different approach compared to a traditional indoor table.

The original cloth had reached the end of its life, and today we completed a full re-cloth, bringing the table back to life and ready for many more years of use.
