None of it happens without a great team, so tonight is time to put the tools down, forget about work for a few hours and have some fun.

And where else would we go? 😃

A huge thanks to the team at Club9 for looking after us. If you love your pool, there really isn’t a better place for a night out.

Great tables, great venue and a seriously good night.

When two become one…

It’s been about a month since we took over the warehouse next door and started the process of joining the two together.

We’ve now more than doubled our footprint at Mount Kuring-Gai, giving us the space to completely rethink how The Snooker Shop operates.

Our original unit is progressively becoming a dedicated customer showroom, with more tables on display and room to properly showcase the huge range of cues, accessories and equipment we carry.

Next door is becoming the engine room behind it all. Bulk stock, container unloading, table storage, our workshop and preparation area, and everything needed to support our growing table installation and servicing division.

It’s still very much a work in progress. The pallet racking in some of these photos only went up yesterday and there’s still plenty of shelving, stock movement and setup to come.

But after a month of moving, building, reorganising and probably creating more mess than we started with, it’s finally starting to come together.

And there’s plenty more on the way. Some of our biggest shipments of cues and accessories are arriving over the coming weeks, along with more tables for the showroom.

The WWS Australian Women’s Open is back at Mounties this October, bringing some of Australia’s best female players together with some of the best in the world and this year with an increased $15,000 prize pool!

We’re proud to continue our support of this fantastic event and to play our part in helping grow women’s snooker here in Australia.

We’ll also be bringing back The Snooker Shop’s Showroom To You on the Saturday of this event, with a range of cues and accessories available at Mounties throughout the day.

What a setup!

We have become a victim of our own success.

Since opening our Mount Kuring-Gai Superstore, we couldn’t have imagined how quickly we would grow or the level of support we would receive.

We try to stay ahead of our stock requirements, but our cues are planned more than six months in advance. Every range is produced specifically to our individual designs and requirements, so when demand exceeds those forecasts, we simply cannot replace them any faster.

As a result, we are currently completely sold out of every one of our 1066 Billiards snooker cue ranges including Duke, Valour, Earl, Knight, Conquer and Royal FS as well as our popular MYCUE Genesis.

We don’t have a single 1066 Billiards snooker cue left in stock, the very cues we built our business on.

We have done our best to supplement these ranges with additional in-store-only selections across different price points, but we simply haven’t been able to keep up with demand.

The good news is that we now have more cues on order than ever before, and every one of these ranges will be back in stock within the next two weeks.

As soon as they arrive, we’ll be working to inspect, photograph and add them to the website as quickly as possible.

Our aim is to make sure we never run out across so many ranges to this extent again.
