One of the biggest mistakes I see in the fitness industry is treating fat loss and body composition like they exist in isolation
As if the only thing that matters is:
“Did the scale go down?”
The reality is your body doesn’t work like that, and that’s usually why people fail when doing it on their own
If your sleep is poor, training suffers. If your digestion is poor, nutrition becomes harder to stick to. If recovery is slow, performance drops. If your mindset is in the bin, your consistency usually follows
Everything is connected
That’s why when I review a check in, I’m not just looking at the number the scale says, because frankly I don’t care what it says if you’re feeling like crap, your stressed out & have been skipping your meals
I’m looking at the bigger picture, the thing that’s going to be optimal for you & your health long-term! So that you can actually see the goal through, long term
Coaching should be holistic
And that’s why it’s more complicated to do than people think
