Our next crew member to introduce is our main trimmer, Sarah Parker. 🔥
After representing her home club, the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, as a jib trimmer at last year’s New York Yacht Club Invitational, Sarah is excited to return - bringing the experience, confidence, and race knowledge she gained to help lift this year’s team. 🙌
Sarah is “hoping to feel that same energy in Newport again - the hospitality, the close crosses and the sight of each country’s kite as they set round the top mark.”
Straight after this event, Sarah will be joining teammates Juliet Costanzo and Katie Spithill at the Women’s World Match Racing Championships in San Francisco. She has been competing on the Women’s World Match Racing Tour since 2022.
Sarah’s sailing achievements include:
• Two Match Racing World Championship titles (Youth & University)
• Multiple international and national match racing podiums
• Four Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races
When she’s not on the water, Sarah works as a stroke rehabilitation physiotherapist at Royal North Shore Hospital.
We’re so excited to have Sarah and her blend of calmness, strategy, and competitive fire on the team 🔥

Katie Spithill is the complete personification of the message, Never Say Die.
As she says of herself, "Definitely. It is always there and available, and we are always fighting." Since the early days on Pittwater, so much has transpired.
"One of the key highlights of my sailing time was with fellow Women Racing co-Founder, long-time sailing buddy and teammate, Stacey Jackson, as part of the Ocean Respect Racing Team for the 2018 Sydney to Hobart Race."
We'll hear from Stacey, as well, as part of this here ditty.
Thanks John Curnow and Sail-World for the in-depth background on our co-founders and beginnings!

Alongside the official launch of Shaw and Partners Women Racing, last weekend's training camp was another important step in our preparations for the inaugural New York Yacht Club Women's International Championship in Newport, Rhode Island.
Every session together is an opportunity to build teamwork, fine-tune the details and continue the journey towards September.

A new chapter begins.
Today we're incredibly proud to officially launch Shaw and Partners Women Racing as we prepare to represent Australia at the inaugural New York Yacht Club Women's International Championship in Newport, Rhode Island.
This campaign is about more than one regatta. It's about creating opportunities, building pathways and showing what's possible when exceptional women come together to compete on the world stage.
A huge thank you to our Naming Rights Partner, Shaw and Partners Financial Services, and to all of the partners, supporters and individuals who have helped bring this vision to life.
