Our mighty A’s and A reserves! These men have been training the house down and digging deep for each other in the big moments of late, but we need all our Rovers community in cerise & blue this Sunday cheering them on. For our Rovers community we’d love to see all the juniors and our extended families representing at Mascot Oval, they’ll be 2 tough games ahead of these incredible teams but we know they’re ready to roll. FROM THE ROVERS FAMILY TO THE NRL!
The whole Alexandria Rovers family couldn’t be prouder today as we congratulate our own Solomone Saukuru on being selected to make his NRL debut for the Wests Tigers this Saturday! 🐯🏉

Solomone is a proud Alexandria Rovers junior, and his journey to the NRL is one that makes our whole club incredibly proud.

Rovers runs deep in the Saukuru family, with Solomone and both of his brothers having pulled on the famous Rovers jersey during their junior careers.

From a talented schoolboy prodigy, to working his way through the Wests Tigers system, Solomone has continued to chase his dream and earn his opportunity.

And what a season he is having!

🔥 20 tries in the NSW Cup — currently the competition’s leading try-scorer!

That form has now earned Solomone his opportunity on the biggest stage, with the 21-year-old named at No. 3 centre for the Wests Tigers against the Dragons this Saturday.

But the NRL is not the first time Solomone has represented at the highest level. He has already proudly worn the Fiji Bati jersey, representing his family's heritage on the international stage. 🇫🇯

When Solomone takes the field on Saturday, he will also become the 88th player on the Alexandria Rovers NRL First Grade honour roll — another chapter in the proud history of our club. 🏆

From kicking a footy around as a Rovers junior, following in the footsteps of his brothers, to now running onto an NRL field…

This is what junior rugby league is all about.

Solomone, your Rovers family will be watching, cheering and celebrating every minute.

The U6s had a great last game against the Maroubra Lions teams. Plenty of tries, tags and good footy from the boys.

The team has come a long way this year and they’re definitely ready for tackle next season!

Shout out to our Man of the Match, Marlee, who made it back for the last game despite being jet-lagged and play through even though he was tired. We would love to thank Coach James, trainer Grant, Manager Jen, you guys put in such incredible work with this fantastic team and we have loved watching them play and learn! Thank you under 6’s for an amazing 2026 💙🩷
