~The Art of Fitness~
Working hard at something you love doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.
For some, it’s training for HYROX, chasing a PB, or spending hours in the gym. For others, it’s showing up consistently to Reformer Pilates, moving their body, building strength, and feeling better in everyday life.
That’s one of the things I love most about Reformer Pilates. It appeals to so many different people, all with different goals. For some, it’s their entire fitness routine. For others, it’s one piece of a bigger puzzle.
For me, that puzzle includes running, strength training, and Pilates. Each brings something different and together they help me stay strong, resilient and injury-resistant.
There is no single “best” way to get fit. The best training is the training you enjoy enough to keep coming back to.
Find what you love, work hard at it and trust that consistency will take you further than perfection ever will.

Tell us a little about yourself….
Hey I’m Connie! Originally from the UK and moved to Sydney in 2025 with my fiancé to start our exciting new chapter! I love the simple things; coffee, swimming, cute dogs, Aperol’s in the sun, feel-good movement, family and friends. With a background in gymnastics and dance, movement has always been a huge part of who I am, so Pilates felt like the perfect way to reconnect with that passion.
What drew you to become Reformer Pilates teacher?
I fell in love with Reformer Pilates back in England when I was working as a long haul flight attendant, because no matter how tired or jet lagged I felt, I ALWAYS left class feeling stronger, clearer minded, and more energised. It quickly became a huge part of my routine, and when I moved to Australia, I knew it was time to take the leap and train as an instructor. I love helping people feel good in their bodies and seeing clients leave class feeling uplifted, confident, and proud of what their bodies can achieve.
What can we expect from one of your classes?
Expect a laid-back, inclusive, friendly atmosphere with plenty of juicy layers to keep you challenged. My classes focus on creating balance between body and mind while building strength, confidence, and body awareness. I’m there to be your biggest cheerleader, but most importantly, I want you to leave feeling stronger, more connected to yourself, and with a smile on your face and maybe a little shake in your legs too!

~Member of the Month~
This month we’re celebrating one of our original Freshwater members, the wonderful Moira 🤩
Moira joined Tempo when we first opened our Freshwater studio in February 2023 and has been showing up consistently ever since. Attending classes three times a week, she continues to amaze both our teaching team and fellow members with her commitment, positivity and willingness to challenge herself.
Moira is a perfect example that it’s never too late to start. She proves that regardless of your age, experience, or fitness background, you can become fitter, stronger, move better, and build confidence in your body with consistency and the right support.
We are so proud to have been part of Moira’s journey and can’t wait to see what she achieves next.
