Force and power feel similar - but they're opposites.
Force pushes. It comes from muscle, it clashes, and it runs out fast. Power flows. It comes from a relaxed, connected body, it slides through, and it lasts all day. The man using force gasses out. The man using power has barely started.
Especially past 40 - you don't need more force. You need power.
Stop forcing.

A unified body is a lever. A tense one is just heavy.
Take real pressure into your structure and let it open up - don't brace, expand. Then keep that exact feeling as you move. When the whole frame stays connected, a tiny turn of one joint becomes a giant lever and your partner has to deal with all of you at once.
Tense one part and it gets hard. Unify and it's effortless.

He saw Ip Man do the impossible - and asked how.
He got the tips, but then he did the work: trained day and night until he didn't just match Ip Man, he surpassed him. They called him the king of Siu Nim Tao.
His dying wish? Find a faster, better way to pass this power on - because he never fully cracked how to teach it. That quest is what I've carried ever since.

There are two halves to real power: become stronger, and make your opponent weaker.
Where jiu-jitsu takes a dominant position, we do it differently - we attack the spine so the body tenses. And a tense body is a weak body. Lock up their structure and they can't generate force or recover their balance.
More power. Weaker opponent. That's the whole game.

Most people try to move their body first. That's why it feels so heavy.
The real order is spirit, then mind, then energy body, then physical body. Seek that first. When you give the command to your energy body, the physical stops tightening up and simply follows - lighter, faster, harder to stop.
Truth is powerful because it aligns with what's actually happening.
