HND in professional cookery ☑️

Going back to study has definitely taught me I enjoy learning but not In a way which stretches my mental capacity too much. This last year was very theory heavy & after my degree I just don’t think Iv ever recovered fully 😂. I feel I want to learn in a more ‘hobby’ type environment than stressed out my box environment on top of my current work load so come August I will be starting a bakery course so watch out! It’s not about chasing the highest qualification possible but about enjoying learning something new!

It’s been BUSY but always grateful for this wee life!

A lovely evening spent at for our Gastronomy dinner.

7 delicious courses of food & pairing wine (0% 😉) led by our fantastic lecturers, students & Michelin star chef Kayleigh Turner from thrown in for dessert!

& I set out on an adventure / challenge back at the end of last year where I quite literally got a random message asking if I’d be keen to get involved 😂 & to be honest I had no idea what I was signing up for, but that it was for ,a charity who aligns with my own values - ‘it’s ok not to be ok’.

It’s been a privilege, pleasure & EFFORT to complete the 875 miles but we did it!

Thank you to ALL who donated to keep us going, motivated & getting it done ☑️

It’s never & was never about the medal. Its about recognising the incredible work Mikeysline & similar charities are doing 🌟
