This week we say farewell to the wonderful Coach Arlene.
Arlene joined us for a career break and from day one she brought the most beautiful warmth and care to everything she did. Our community felt it. We all felt it.
She's now heading back to her own endeavours, and we couldn't be more excited for her. Whoever gets to be in her world next is very lucky indeed.
Arlene, thank you for the energy you brought to this space, the clients you cared for so deeply, and the mark you've left on all of us. We'll miss you!

If eating less was the answer, menopausal women would be the leanest they've ever been. Yet for many women, the opposite is true.
Despite eating less, skipping meals, cutting carbs, or constantly trying to be "good", the scales won't move, energy is low, recovery suffers, and body composition continues to change.
Why? Because the menopause transition changes the rules.
Undereating can reduce muscle mass, impact metabolic health, increase fatigue, and make it harder to maintain the strong, lean body you're working for.
The solution isn't eating less.
It's eating enough of the right things and supporting your body with:
✓ Strength training
✓ Adequate protein (1.6–2.0g per kg of body weight)
✓ Fibre-rich foods (aim for at least 25g daily)
✓ Quality sleep and recovery
✓ Stress management
Your body isn't broken.
It simply needs a different strategy than the one that worked in your 20s and 30s.
Train smart. Fuel well. Live strong.
