NSW Junior Rugby Union is the body responsible for looking after junior rugby in NSW.
It has three affiliates Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU), NSW Country Rugby Union (CRU) & NSW Schools whom all work together to better the game of Rugby in NSW.

🚨Missed selection for your Home District or Zone but still keen to compete at the 2026 NSW Junior State 7s Championships?
The Rep Player Pool gives eligible players the opportunity to be considered by another District or Zone needing additional players.
To be eligible, you must have trialled for your own Home District or Zone first.

A huge day of schoolboy rugby is coming to Eric Tweedale Stadium!
Come down on Wednesday 26 August for the Waratah Shield and Super 6 Crown finals, featuring some of the best young rugby talent from across NSW.
Matches kick off from 9.30am, so come along and enjoy a great day of footy!

Last Friday, NSW Juniors sent invitations via email to players selected for the 2026 NSW Junior Development Tours to Japan.
If you received an invitation, make sure you check your inbox and submit your response by the due date next week.
Once all responses are in and places are confirmed, we’ll be ready to officially announce our 2026 Japan touring teams right here on socials.

NSW Rugby Schools is inviting ALL schools to get involved in a full day of rugby development, focused on building the skills and confidence needed for both 10s and 15s rugby.

The day will include:
• Core rugby skills
• Forward set piece
• 10s & 15s specific skills
• Game play
• Skills sessions followed by games
A great opportunity for girls to get on the field, develop their game and put their skills into practice alongside other school teams.
